Read moreEvery summer, Monceaux-le-Comte hosts the theater festival Les Heures Festives, organized by Les Livreurs and Bookson. During this period, visitors can attend solo theater performances every evening from 6:45pm. These shows feature a performer who brings a play to life in one hour, with only his or her voice as ally. The festival also offers weekend workshops, from 10am to 5pm, for those wishing to learn more about literature. These include a reading aloud workshop and a solo theater workshop. Participants can enjoy a bike ride through the region, with reading breaks and a picnic on arrival. The Les Heures Festives festival takes place in the charming grounds of the former presbytery in Monceaux-le-Comte, but also offers events in the surrounding communes to showcase the local heritage.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, you'll find a wide selection of beers and wines from his estate (Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé). But that's not all! To accompany the tasting, charcuterie and cheese boards are also available. What's more, there's karaoke every Friday, and a pop rock concert one Saturday a month.
