A beautiful area created in 2000 in the heart of the Ortolo valley, known as the source valley, which in the 500 th century had more than hectares of vineyards. Laurence and Elisabeth Quilichini-Phelip run the winery and olive groves on the property of 300 hectares, 12 of which are vines, exposed to the south-east. A grouping of the cooperatives of Aléria and Casinca, this cellar represents 70 winegrowers established on 1 500 ha. Since 1958, it has symbolized the wine revival of these micro-regions of the eastern coast. Here, talent and technology harmonize to produce always and still the best. It is the largest wine producer in Corsica, with a range of wines made from island grape varieties, but also from traditional varieties such as merlot, cabernet or chardonnay.

The vines are cultivated in a traditional way, without chemical fertilizers, weed killers or synthetic pesticides, certified organic. The vine thus keeps its natural balance and produces perfectly healthy grapes able to give the maximum of aromas. Both the rosés and whites are nervous and fruity, the reds, round in the mouth, age and improve well over ten years. Very nice range of old vintages and wines for laying down. Organic olive oil PDO. The story of the domaine began in 1970, when Pierre and Christian, passionate winegrowers, cultivated their hectares of vines in Aléria. Forty years later, Christian's son Titi took over the reins, asserting his determination to imagine and produce his own wine. The original plots of Merlot were replaced by Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu and Carcajolu Neru. The entire harvest is processed by gravity in stainless steel vats. In the basement, the cellar houses the oak barrels where the red wine is aged.

The Baracci valley is enchanting, the light is at home here and during a moment of grace you will also find it in the bottle, because it is here that the grapes of the Sant'Armettu estate, created in 1996, mature. An estate of 40 ha where white, rosé and red wines are declined in several ranges Mino, Rosumarinu, Myrtus whose black dress augurs the richness of the aromas, patiently raised in oak barrels. The grape varieties are largely endemic: Minustellu in red and Genovese in white... Olive oil of the estate in two versions: Olealta and Spuma.

The Richarme family winery extends over 24 hectares, planted with niellucciu, sciaccarellu and vermentinu. In good years, it produces 900 hl of reds, whites and rosés certified AB - agriculture biologique - and practicing biodynamics (Demeter certification). The fruity, oak-aged Esprit de la Terre cuvée is a firm favorite, as is the Lion de Roccapina cuvée. As a bonus, there's a gourmet restaurant, a swimming pool, a camping area and even charming bed & breakfasts. Pure happiness!

These ten hectares of clay-limestone land bordering the sea are the pride of Jean-Laurent de Bernardi, whose illustrious father was at the origin of the "Patrimonio" appellation. Covering the soils of Saint-Florent, these organically-farmed vines are not treated with copper and produce wines worthy of France's finest restaurants: a fruity, elegant Patrimonio rosé, a typical, distinguished white, a dense, suave "crème de tête" red and a surprising Muscat with incomparable notes, available exclusively from the cellar!

Since 1991, Isabelle Courrèges has succeeded in developing her vineyard, which has become one of the region's best-sellers and is certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale). The typical Corsican grape varieties (vermentinu for whites, sciaccarellu and niellucciu for reds and rosés) produce wines of character. The Domaine welcomes you for a tasting. The cuvée Guillaume, aged in oak barrels for the red, and also available in white, will surprise you with its complexity and originality. Boasting an original geographical location, this estate of almost thirty hectares, thirteen of which are AOC Patrimonio, was created in 1850 by the Santamaria family on the edge of Oletta.

Unlike other roadside estates, the Santamaria estate overlooks the picturesque mountain-lined Lake Padula, nestled on the outskirts of the village. The setting sun makes these remote lands seem like the end of the world, and they're definitely worth a visit! Organically farmed since 2014 and using a "culture raisonnée" approach since the beginning, the estate has been developed by Jean-Louis, a^{5th-generation} descendant of the Santamaria clan, supported today by his son Thomas, as well as Matisse, the figurehead of the ^6th generation.

In 2016, Thomas gave the family business a facelift and initiated a number of innovative changes: he proposed a new visual identity, which today stands out from the appellation's traditional labels, developed Tranoï (a contraction of Tra di noï, " between us ", in Corsican), a fine range of vins de pays, and in 2018 created "Montre tes yeux", a fresh and surprising red based on cinsault, a most original proposition for the region, but one that has proved popular. The red, white and rosé AOCs are a must-taste. Very popular in Corsica and on the mainland for its more accessible flavors, the range of vins de pays has been a victim of its own success, and certain creations are now impossible to find. Domaine Orsini has been described as the cathedral of modern gourmet delights. Originally famous for its AOC Calvi wines, it has expanded its production to include handcrafted aperitifs made from the fruits and plants of the maquis. You can come and taste orange or peach aperitifs, Muscat and Cap Corse, as well as liqueurs with scents of chestnut, wild blackberry, arbutus and citron, almond or fig and hazelnut, and an assortment of jams, nougats, fruit jellies and Maquisettes. Gift boxes also available. Beautiful, tastefully decorated cellar with reception and tasting room, and some fine musical and cultural events in season.

Otta, the first Corsican Arrangerie rum distillery, was born in Barretali from the inspiration and determination of its creators, Laurence and Sandra, inspired by their own lives. Eco-responsible values for an island production based on AOC and IGP rums from the best producers and short circuits for local fruits and berries. Punch, arranged vanilla-hazelnut, citron-ginger, wild myrtle... A whole universe to discover on site (by appointment), online or at various points of sale.

The estate, created in 1885, covers 8 ha of argilo-granitic land and produces, annually, 130 hl of wines based on sciaccarellu, carcass, niellucciu and vermentinu for whites, which make the quality of island wines. The vine culture, carried out without fertilizers or weeding, is labeled ecocert.

Joseph Wheatcroft is from Corsica, yet in his boutique, carefully selected local products stand side by side with products from further afield, such as caviar and Petrossian products, salmon and foie gras, as well as fine whisky references: Ardbeg, Bushmills 21-year-old, vintage Oban, not forgetting the 100% local P&M. AOC wines from Corsica and elsewhere, and champagnes from producers. In the delicatessen: sardines from La Belle-Iloise, anchovies from Collioure, teas from Comptoir Français and pasta and rice from Italian producers.

The estate of the Suzzoni family is located on the way to the 12th century San-Petru chapel, classified as a Historical Monument. It extends over 50 hectares in the communes of Montegrosso and Lumio, cultivated in the traditional way, on a land of granite arenas and clay terraces, planted with niellucciu, sciaccarellu, vermentinu, grenache, syrah, cinsault and muscat petit grain. Engaged in organic farming since 2010, the new superb cellar allows tasting, visits and enlightened comments. To taste: Domaine Culombu, Clos Culombu.

The Aghione cooperative, created in 1975, groups together 31 wineries. The vineyards extend over 850 hectares of vines planted directly around the winery, a large part of which are in organic conversion and certified as having a high environmental value. The vine feeds on a clay-limestone terroir, with clay-limestone soils, red sands and rolled pebbles. During the 13th edition of the Mondial du Rosé, the wines of the Vignerons d'Aghione, the only Corsican wines to be rewarded, won 3 silver medals!

Philippe Farinelli, a talented oenologist, has been one of the island's leading winemakers since 1998. But his property was already considered as one of the jewels of Corsica's winegrowing in the 19th century! His range is remarkable and very much in demand. Notably the sublime "Casteddu" cuvée in red, white and rosé, made from selected plots with low yields and aged in oak barrels, ideal as a wine for laying down. The Domaine Saparale AOC Sartène cuvée is also available in all three colours and is the perfect accompaniment to all kinds of meals with its distinctly Sarthe accents. There is also an adorable hotel section consisting of beautiful charming residences, 3 magnificent sheepfolds immersed in the heart of the surrounding nature, among the 1,000 hectares of the property, with a swimming pool. A new cellar has just been restored with its tasting area. Welcome to the kingdom of Epicure!

Managed by Monika Boucher and her daughter Gwenaëlle, the estate is one of the precursors of organic viticulture in Corsica, certified in 1987. Rewarded efforts that delight the palates of the finest connoisseurs. The range includes the Granjolo in the 3 colors, the Granajolo Cuvée Monika, in red and rosé, and the "J", in red and white, an exceptional wine matured in barrels and produced in limited quantities. The grape varieties used are niellucciu and sciaccarellu for the red and rosé, and vermentinu, the traditional island white.
