We love this restaurant which was recommended to us by the Hotel Corallaro. It is not a beach restaurant, you will not have your feet in the water, but your taste buds will remember it! At Pema we serve a bistronomic cuisine worthy of the best restaurants on the island. The refinement of the cuisine and the associations of flavors moved us: unforgettable linguine with sea anemone! As for the cooking of the octopus, it was just perfect. The decoration is superb, modern with a rustic touch, the staff and the chef are adorable. Bravo !

When a restaurateur tells you that people from Cagliari come to his place (an hour's drive away) just to taste the fish, we're doubtful. But once you get your feet under the table, everything becomes magical. Antonello is more than a chef, he's a true goldsmith. We were blown away by his refined and inventive recipes. Bravo maestro, we're verging on gastronomy! Unsurprisingly, this is the best restaurant in Mandas and the region. We were also won over by the kindness of the man who told us his story... to the music of Phil Collins.

"Ottimo" is Italian for "excellent". Excellent setting, you couldn't dream of a better place at the foot of the dunes, with a view that embraces the entire beach. Excellent, uncompromising seafood cuisine: Andrea decides on the menu only the day before, as his entire philosophy is based on the products of the local catch. Among all the delights, we succumbed to the "confit" octopus, quite simply exceptional. For wines, close your eyes and let Simona advise you. All in all, Mates offers a true gastronomic experience. It's magical!

The Nascar Hotel's restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best in the area. The careful selection of top quality products such as local red shrimp (so fresh that they are offered raw or marinated) or fish returns gives the cuisine a lightness and authenticity that is unmatched. Typical dishes like fregula or fish ravioli are executed to perfection. A few steps from the sea, the tables are set in a garden of holm oaks lit by the moon and candlelight ... Magical!

The restaurant of the hotel Pop with its splendid terrace is known in the whole region. The large, shady terrace welcomes you to enjoy shellfish and fish caught on the day. The speciality is sea bream and other fish cooked in a salt crust, but you can also enjoy fresh homemade pasta and the best typical dishes of the region. A superb list of local wines, Sardinian liqueurs and homemade desserts, need we say it? Quality dishes and choice at a reasonable price. Really a good address.

But the effort is worth it, because the Borgo San't Ignazio offers another atmosphere, another setting, nestled in the heart of the medieval district of Bosa. The beautiful vaulted room with stone walls and irregular plastering betrays the age of this house. Here you can taste Sardinian cold meats and cheeses, fish al forno, pasta al dente or seadas al miele. The terrace occupies half of the alleyway, installed under the vine or in the sun.

This excellent fish restaurant evokes a time when bluefin tuna were common in the waters of the Mediterranean. Luckily, there are many other pelagic resources that end up nicely cooked, such as this pasta with langoustines, this squid stew or these large tagliatelle mixed with fresh tomatoes and mussels. But the speciality to taste absolutely is the cascà, a variety of Tunisian couscous. One sits on one of the two sheltered terraces, with no view, but with comfortable high chairs.

There is a large terrace at the front, but it is not enough to accommodate all the customers. This is the restaurant that the locals recommended to us. And for good reason, the prices are more than reasonable, a rare thing in La Maddalena. The food is quite good, and the whole thing is quite correct. Like many restaurants in the area, it has made a specialty of fish and seafood. The classic menu is as long as the arm and there is a large choice of pasta, pizzas, fried fish and shellfish, and grilled lobster... of course. The restaurant is located on the edge of the marina.

The restaurant of the hotel Il Querceto is a pure delight. We were amazed by the quality of execution of the dishes, the presentation of the plates and the great finesse in the mouth. Meat or fish, rice or pasta, it's a no-fail. An avalanche of flavors that you can enjoy in the summer on the terrace at sunset - as romantic as it gets. The staff is very attentive, Massimiliano watches over his team like a conductor and has recruited a prestigious chef. This is one of our best addresses in Sardinia that we recommend with our eyes closed.

"It was a small bar when it was born in 1957," says Stefano, who has been running the place since 2003, half a century later... Altamarea is S'Archittu's must-visit restaurant. Three modestly sized dining rooms, one of which has its feet in the water. The atmosphere is family-friendly, simple and straightforward, much like Stefano's own image. The food is delicious and fine, and the prices are very reasonable for the location. The pizzas are also an excellent choice, as are the local wines. We love to sit under the straw hut, facing the Grande Bleue... Contemplative!

Antonio, the son of a farmer and proud of his origins, created Sa Corte in 2005 to share with customers the products from his father's farm (cheese, charcuterie, fruit, vegetables and honey). Almost 20 years later, it's arguably the best restaurant in Santa Lucia. From appetizer to dessert, there are so many surprises! Our favorite is the radicchio semi freddo.
