This excellent fish restaurant evokes a time when bluefin tuna were common in the waters of the Mediterranean. Luckily, there are many other pelagic resources that end up nicely cooked, such as this pasta with langoustines, this squid stew or these large tagliatelle mixed with fresh tomatoes and mussels. But the speciality to taste absolutely is the cascà, a variety of Tunisian couscous. One sits on one of the two sheltered terraces, with no view, but with comfortable high chairs.

We were welcomed by Segundo and Alessandro, who looked after us and explained everything. We had the tasting menu of four courses, and tuna served 7 different ways and then lemon sorbet to clear the palate ????. It's the food that matters here, not the view. It is tucked away slightly up the hill from the sea front, but has a light airy balcony. Hope to return to explore particular dishes a bit more.

Situé dans une petite rue dans la vieille ville. L'accueil y est chaleureux et ce sont des habitués qui sont là
Malheureusement ce que nous avons mangé était très moyens.
On s'attendait à quelque chose de savoureux et on a eu juste des petites tranches de thon plus ou moins cuites dans une assiettes.
On a commandé des pâtes qui baignaient dans le pesto.
Bref un resto de base..mais 84 euro tout de même..

Sono arrivato per caso e solo poi ho visto che è un posto consigliato. Capisco il motivo! Chi giunge a Carloforte e vuole conoscere la vera sua storia e cucina, non può mancare di mangiare qui. Il TONNO la fa da padrone servito in ogni sua possibilità. La cucina ed il servizio di sala è perfetto e cordiale, piacevolmente semplice. Tornerò sicuramente

Servizio eccellente. Cameriere competente e simpatico, molto gentile. Menù degustazione tonno ottimo per provare un po di tutto. Ci siamo fatti consigliare il vino e ottima raccomandazione, era perfetto. Siamo stati con un cucciolo di cane e una bambina di quasi 3 anni, molto comprensivi e premurosi. Consigliato assolutamente, la location è molto tipica e carina.
