This brewery is the story of a passionate couple who came from Toulouse to live off their passion in the heart of Bigouden country. After training in the cultivation of hops, they went on to create their own craft beers with a rich variety of flavors. A former airplane pilot, Dave Bednarowicz took up craft beer brewing in 2013, a passion he'd already pursued as an amateur. Today, he produces no less than 10,000 liters a month. Beers brewed year-round include Pilote en Mousse (blonde), Covale (white), Boom (blonde IPA), Kervignacoise (triple) and Chonchon (amber). Building on its success, the brewery now welcomes you to a beautiful space in a former printing works, converted into a brewpub for evening concerts, tastings and afterworks!

It's an institution in the Trégor region, found in every bar. This brand of beer is named after the great-grandmother of Bertrand Salomon, the brewery's founder. Handcrafted from organic, local barley, Philomenn comes in red, blonde, stout, peat, white, triple... not to mention the ephemera. To make your choice, visit the brewery, which has taken over former railway workshops on the banks of the Jaudy. The beautifully renovated brick warehouse features a sales and tasting area, with a view of the vats.

Born in 2016, the "brewery of the tontons" is the fruit of the adventures and desires of its three founders: Mathieu, Benoît and Benjamin. In an old boathouse, the beers (of Anglo-Saxon inspiration) are produced from about fifteen hops and a dozen barley and wheat malts. They have a fruity taste, with citrus and pine aromas, and a pleasant bitterness. Their Tagarin Ale, Blanche IPA, Witbier, Stout Toujours and IPA can also be found in several local wineries and bars. It will soon be 10 years since the Skumenn ("Écume" in Breton) craft brewery began supplying the people of Rennes with its aromatic, organic beers. What a journey it's been since childhood friends Thomas Cléraux and Stéphane Le Boucher were brewing in their garage! The Brewpub, with its direct view over the large vats of the production workshop, is a great place to come for an afterwork, to listen to a punk concert or Irish music. The atmosphere is warm and inviting: antique furniture, velvet banquettes, rugs on the floor with an indus' spirit that we love. And of course, we come to buy our favorite beers direct, packaged in bottles, cans or growlers.

Not far from the center of town, this rock-solid brew pub, whose name means "bottle-opener" in Breton, has a sales and tasting area, open on Saturdays and for weekend aperitifs. From the bar, large glass windows offer a view of the vats where the beverages ferment: blonde, amber, white or vanilla brown... Each one bears the name of a member of the "club of 27", those rockers who died early: Joplin, Hendrix... Top-quality beers, with a touch of bitterness. The bar also serves wine, softs and hot drinks.

The sales and tasting area of the La Dilettante brewery created in 2015 on the initiative of Jean-Baptiste and Pierre, La Flemme cave & bar has since moved to the Kerboulard artisanal zone and gained in surface area. Here, of course, they brew themselves, for the love of things well done and the pleasure of sharing, several varieties of permanent organic craft beers, such as La Dilettante made from 95% barley sourced in Brittany, La Flemme, La Fièvre, La Bringue and La Fougue, as well as a few limited-edition mousses. We discovered this new Rennes brewery by chance during an evening at Hibou Grand Duc. Enthralled by the Hyperpop IPA (a short-lived beer) and the Vitrine lager, a delicate and refreshing beer, we then went to discover this new Rennes brewery, which opened last November. At the studio, you'll find the work of Rennes-based visual artist Tom Nelson, and above all, you'll be able to buy his craft beers direct, and why not a banana or a Smash t-shirt in the process. Created by Mickaël Legendre in 2017, the Brasserie de la Bizhhh is a craft brewery that has built a good reputation in the Rennes area. It unveils a range of lagers, ambers, russets, IPA, SMaSH (composed only of one malt and one hop), Porter (black beer). The beers are all made from organic raw materials. And for the more adventurous, find every year our Rheusoise brewery at the famous Craft Beer Festival of Saint-Malo, dedicated to the French and international craft beer.
