Comfort has been improved and hotel standard rooms have been added to the dormitories and hostel style rooms. Two large Falun redwood buildings planted on the banks of a tumultuous river and a magical vastness... Prices remain affordable, and the place is just as busy. It is a strategic crossing point for any hiker. We stop there gladly, for a night or two, to recharge our batteries, surrounded by nature and nothing else.

On the island of Sandön, in the town of Klubbviken, you'll find the Hotel Klubbviken Havsbad. A beautiful white house, the hostel is in the historic premises of a former hospital, a few steps from the city center, in the small park Badhusparken.
