Bakfickan is the only fish and seafood restaurant in Visby. And not just any restaurant! In a family atmosphere, with colored lights and waxed tablecloths, one feels immediately at ease. Quickly the waiter puts a slate on the table: with chalk the fresh arrivals of the day are indicated (herring, shrimps, lobster...). You can also order à la carte. The big display case is always full of crab, scampi and mussels. The atmosphere is joyful, the service friendly and the fish soup succulent. A must.

This neighborhood canteen opened in the 1970s is a real institution. It is the first vegetarian restaurant in Gothenburg, and the manager and the staff are the same since the beginning of the adventure! Rather calm and warm, the interior also remained in its juice. Above all, the quality/price ratio is unbeatable: you choose among three hot dishes and have access to a delicious and very varied cold buffet. The food is simple but wonderfully seasoned and generous. A real good plan in all simplicity!

Charming little restaurant located in the very lively district of Haga, we stop there to spend a good moment around a well filled plate. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and the kitchen is open, which floods the room with succulent smells... Hard to resist! An address renowned for its impeccably fresh fish and seafood dishes. Once again, the fish from around Göteborg are given pride of place. Very good wines on the menu and terrace, in a charming patio, in good weather.

It is one of the best fish and seafood restaurants in the city. The history of this restaurant is very old, since it was the city councilor Jakob V Utfall who built a stone house on the site where the establishment now stands, in 1698. After a long history and a series of events, it is now the local chef, Lars Ahlström, who is taking Fiskekrogen to new heights. He serves dishes that are both classic and innovative, always featuring the treasures of the sea! Good wine list.

In this cosy little lounge with its thousand traditional pastries(semla, kannelbullar, but also kladdkaka sprinkled with pomegranate seeds or raspberries and a breakfast buffet), it's the ideal place to take a little break by the light of the candles that dress the tables in a soft glow. There are also goat cheese and walnut sandwiches, köttbollar (Swedish dumplings) and other delicacies. A real treat, not to be missed if you are in the neighbourhood!

You can eat to your heart's content and vegans or vegetarians are not left out and will also find their happiness. A place highly recommended!

Since 1982, Hambergs has been one of the favorite restaurants in Uppsala. The Hambergs triad: shop/restaurant/restaurant, is one of the factors in the restaurant's success. Fish and seafood are fragile creatures that cannot be kept for long, but with daily deliveries, it is possible to serve products that are always fresh. Greasy Spoon is the place to go for a good brunch in SoFo. Just like the neighborhood, the atmosphere and staff are a bit hipster, the dishes are mismatched, the tapestries are full of flowers, the fruit juices are fresh and the menu is simple but tasty. We opt for eggs Benedict of the day, perfectly poached with truffle cream, bacon or smoked salmon. A Sunday ritual for many Swedes, peak consumption is between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekends, and reservations are not possible. A great place to start the day!

This small restaurant surfs on the street-food fashion, by declining dishes around poultry, hence the name, Bird. From the duck confit burger, to the buttermilk fried chicken, or the peanut wings, your taste buds and your pupils will be comforted. Young team, very pleasant and dynamic atmosphere, the products are fresh and produced on a small scale in a farm near Trollhättan. Tasty food and reasonable prices. Cocktail and beer menu. Nestled under the arcade that borders the many bars on the street, Kelly's is a favourite place for young people and students to go for an evening beer. It is also where you can find some of the cheapest pizzas in town. Wide choice on the menu and a loud and cheerful atmosphere. The vegan and vegetarian options are very fashionable and successful, so don't hesitate to order them. A good place to spend the evening and why not meet new people and have a party!
