This hotel complex is located along the harbour. You can stay in double rooms, an apartment or a fully equipped chalet. The buildings are former fishermen's sheds that have been refurbished. To collect the keys you have to go to the reception of Thon Hotel Andrikken, where you can also have breakfast if you wish. They are not the best equipped cottages we know of, but they are very good and at least provide a good rest.

A very beautiful hotel, offering comfort, space and bright architecture in a vast rorbuer. Some rooms are even equipped with a hole allowing you to fish directly from your bed (or almost!). Bardufosstun was built around the theme of sport. Chalets for rent and pitches for your tents. A beautiful place. It was built in 1994 during the Olympic Games. There are many activities to do, but the idea of taking your time and enjoying the quiet surroundings will probably come to you! The Hytte are not very big but that's enough and anyway, you'd rather go out and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside. Quiet, clean and well organised campsite. Free internet connection. This large campsite, located on the Nisser lake, offers tent and caravan sites, as well as small fully equipped chalets for families. It is also (and above all) a renowned rock-climbing centre. The chalets are very nice, clean and well furnished. The pitches for tents and motorhomes are fairly widely spaced and close to the water. A brand new building has just been built: pålehytta! A beautiful house on wooden stilts! It's great!

A new hotel, located on the waterfront. It has a boat for trips to the fjord and the island of Torsøy (swimming and barbecues for grilling). 46 rooms in total, almost all have a river view, on the^5th floor, rooms have a private balcony. Completely renovated in 2020. Within walking distance you will find all amenities, small shops, cafes and lanes lined with wooden houses. Their restaurant Elva Bistro offers very very good meals! A must try if you are in the area.

The campsite is situated on a peninsula in the small lake Selurvannet. Beautiful beaches and fishing possibilities. The campsite organizes many activities such as canoeing, river sports, hiking, football, volleyball, climbing, etc. It is one of the oldest campsites in Norway (from the 1930s). Approximately 200 tent places, 8 modern apartments and four small houses. Also a small shop and café serving pizza, burgers, milkshakes, etc.

A traditional hotel with about 100 rooms, built in the early 20th century. A rather imposing entrance with its nice red Chesterfield sofas. Recently renovated, the rooms are quite modern, with light colours, beds you just want to stay in and all the contemporary comforts (flat screen, Internet access, large bathroom, coffee machine). Special care has been taken with the colours. The Madame Blom brasserie, with its fin de siècle atmosphere, is worth a stop if you are hungry.

A large modern hotel, recently renovated, with a fairly standard look but very good inside. The place is for anyone who wants to enjoy the long tradition of skiing and outdoor sports in this area. The spa is very nice, with its ice water pool, hot tubs and sauna! You can also book a massage or a body treatment. Comfortable room, but also tennis lessons, mini golf... you will most probably have a good time! And every time of the year has its own special atmosphere.

A beautiful campsite, where you can enjoy the raw nature of the surroundings. The little red cabins are situated on the water's edge, on a green field, and have a great cachet. There are also places for tents and caravans. In the evening, the sun sets very late at this place, on purpose to let you enjoy long and busy days and long nights because you are very tired! Fishing rods, boats, bicycles for hire... a great campsite !

The Kronen Gaard Hotel, or "Crown Farm", on the outskirts of Sandnes, was built in dragon style at the end of the last century, in 1898, by a timber merchant, Mr. Block-Watne. The Kronen Gaard served as a summer residence for the Block-Watne family, who held numerous parties here. An intimate atmosphere still pervades the restaurant. The majestic 100-year-old weeping birch tree that dominates the south side of the property is probably the oldest birch tree in Rogaland County. Restaurant, conference room and hotel.

This camping and bungalow site is located in the valleys around Sandnes and offers a landscape between countryside and forest. It's a great place to relax with your family, especially as the bungalows on offer are quite pretty, with their grass-covered roofs and green shutters. Well-equipped and comfortable, you'll have plenty of time to spend in the warmth after your daily excusions. Wifi. Supermarket Rema 1000 not far away, which is very convenient!

Not far from the pedestrian centre, this former religious home for seafarers has been transformed into a small hotel with 42 rooms. The rooms (with shower) are small and very simply furnished, but bright and comfortable. The breakfast is very good, we like to linger there in fact. The Best Western chain has taken over the place, providing a fairly standard and good quality service. Special offers often available on their website.

Located 2 km from the centre of Stavanger, this campsite offers different types of accommodation (cabins, tent, caravan). It is possible to cross by speed boat or ferry to Stavanger. All comfort, with showers and free wifi. Toilets, bathroom, electric car chargers, TV room, washing machine and dryer, handy when the weather is not so good or so warm! Camping is the most ecological solution for accommodation, even more so if you also travel by public transport!

The hotel is located in the heart of Stavanger and has a view of Breiavannet, the city's beautiful lake. The rooms are quite small but of very good standard. Renovated not long ago with a lot of taste (well obviously everything is relative!): very soft and pleasant colors, golden yellow and light blue. Desk with lamp, wifi, kettle, umbrella, hair dryer, private bathroom. Fitness room available. A breakfast buffet worthy of a good restaurant. Really, we spend a very good night here, hard to leave!

The 90-room hotel is located in the city center, near the tourist office. The rooms are very modern, decorated with some flashy colors. The reception is pleasant. Everything is super clean and the beds are really comfortable. We would like to spend more than one night there in fact. It is absolutely necessary to go on the terrace at the top of the building from where there is a superb view on the city. Breakfast buffet at the top with a lot of organic food. Free Wifi.

A very nice camp site located on the island of Tromøy, about 12 km from the center of Arendal. Also kayaks, boats and other water sports equipment for rent. Accessible by car but also by bus, train or boat. A family-friendly campground that promises good times. Small events are organized during the summer. Very clean sanitary facilities with all amenities. Barbecue available. A good base to explore the nature in the surroundings and all the activities the region offers.

This hostel is located in a beautiful environment, 1.5 km from the city centre and a few metres from the sea. The hotel is charming with its two bunk rooms and its view on the small harbour. The owner is an architect and this is reflected in the way the place has been renovated.

An old traditional farmhouse converted into a museum, located on the bank of the majestic Glomma River, 10 km south of Alvdal. Several old buildings have been restored and converted into accommodation, most of them with bathrooms. A stable has also been converted into accommodation for 3 people.
