MÉTRO
Read moreThis network is active both day and night, thanks to special services (train, metro and night buses, less frequent than during the day, about every 20 minutes instead of every 2). Most tickets can be used on all lines and transport services. Since 2020, the metro has been extended with the introduction of Ring M3. The M4 line, an extension of the Cityringen, will be extended to Sydhavn by the end of 2024. As a result, bus routes will be completely overhauled, with changes to line numbers and stops.
HAVNEBUS
Read moreAll kinds of transport exist in Copenhagen and enrich the discovery of the city. Have you ever been on a water bus? Then take the 991 and 992 lines of the city's harbour network. These boats run every day for 30 minutes, all year round, unless the weather is bad. They serve 9 stops including Nyhavn, Islands Brygge. You can hop on or off as you wish. If it's not crowded, you can take your bike on board. Havnebus 991 - direction: Teglholmen (south). Havnebus 992 - direction: Refshaleøen (north).
TRAMWAY
Read moreSince December 2017, Aarhus is the first Danish city to have a tram or light rail, as it is called. This tram is intended to expand, to connect Aarhus to many surrounding cities and to relieve the bus network. For the time being, the tram reuses two existing railway tracks - Odderbanen and Grenaabanen - into an electric track. It connects these tracks with an additional track running from Lystrup to Skejby, Randersvej, the nearby port areas and Aarhus Central Station. Its speed is 100 km/h once outside the city.
BUS DE LIGNE
Read moreIn Aalborg, the line buses are yellow but a new blue generation is developing... You will find all the traffic information on the website. Possibility to take a 24 or 72 hours pass. Free for children under 12 years old. You pay directly to the driver (cash payment), the price depends on the zones you want to cross. For your convenience, the free NT application allows you to purchase tickets. A minimum of two zones is required per ticket, regardless of your trip. Bicycles on board also have their own ticket!
S-TOG
Read moreThis RER or TER equivalent runs through the city centre between the central station (København H) and the harbour (Nordhavn), passing through the stations of Vesterport, Nørreport and Østerport. Frequency: roughly every 10 minutes during the day and week, every 20 minutes at weekends. A very Danish detail which shows the concern not to disorientate the user: each S-Tog has its own lane at the central station, so it is impossible to make a mistake. There are 7 lines in total, each designated by a letter. Very useful for a few trips outside Copenhagen.
