This network is active both day and night, thanks to special services (train, metro and night buses, less frequent than during the day, about every 20 minutes instead of every 2). Most tickets can be used on all lines and transport services. Since 2020, the metro has been extended with the introduction of Ring M3. The M4 line, an extension of the Cityringen, will be extended to Sydhavn by the end of 2024. As a result, bus routes will be completely overhauled, with changes to line numbers and stops.

Single tickets cost DKK 24, valid for 1h15 min. L'utilisation du métro local est peu compliqué : il n'y a que 2 lignes - une 3e est en construction .
Les rames sont entièrement automatisées, très propres et les contrôles de billet quasiment systématique . Un aller pour le centre ville coûte 36 dk, disponible très facilement aux bornes automatiques.
