A must-visit restaurant in Belfast for all lovers of fresh, local, sea-fresh flavours. The restaurant is located next to Kelly's Cellars pub, on one of the most typical squares in the Northern Irish city. Here you will find a bistro atmosphere, with benches and slates on the walls to ensure a warm atmosphere. On the menu, you can choose between a few dishes of the day, in addition to the seafood usually offered. The cuisine is very Irish and hearty, with good value for money.

Built around a bar and a restaurant, the Hell Cat Maggies is a very nice place, with high or low tables, sofas or chairs... The food is of good quality and there is something for all tastes. This restaurant is very well known in Belfast and offers an original menu with the flavours of modern bistro cuisine. It is located in a square, high-ceilinged warehouse, without any partition and decorated with surprising and colourful materials. Lamps, tables, fabrics, photos, pipes and seats are mismatched and disparate... It is undoubtedly one of the trendiest places in Belfast and the cuisine is very well thought out: squid with aioli sauce and chilli jam, grilled duck and whiskey sauce purée, chicken cassoulet and chorizo with three beans..

Vegetable Tarte Tatin, fromage blanc and honey mousse; salmon filet with spinach, malt and orange sauce, shrimps and tomatoes; steak flambéed with whiskey, corn and black pepper cream... The restaurant's menu is very original and all dishes are absolutely delicious. You can eat in furnished booths, wooden benches and flowery fabrics, discreet gas lighting, friendly and very helpful staff. It is rural and chic at the same time. The products are local and the salmon is caught in the Bush river in front of the hotel.

Impossible to pass by without Dungannon casting a look (you can always a drink, but the bar is separated from the impressive dining room) in Viscounts. In a church, the restaurant focuses on the medieval atmosphere with armour of knights, swords, spears tournaments and banners, the all of stained-glass windows and a second room mezzanine under the high ceiling. The planted decor makes its small effect and the place is often crowded on weekends. The menu offers a modern and international cuisine that is only provided in local produce.

An excellent address, a former xixe Relais Inn, which offers the most attractive interior, all in plain wood and in a corner. The rooms (pub, bistro and restaurant) are mostly full, because people sometimes move away from Balloo, renowned throughout Ireland and crowned with many prizes. The kitchen is original and fine, based on fresh and local produce (shells St-Jacques sauce, Strangford Lough eel, Strangford Lough eel) and reasonable prices for the special quality of the dishes.

Opened in 2007, this pub in the picturesque village of Lizard is in fact the most southerly in the UK, with a pleasant terrace and small garden. It serves some good, simple dishes, including fish of the day, burgers and even pizzas. There's also a good selection of Cornish beers. One of our favorite local spots.
