THE WITCHBALL
Read moreA witchball is what was hung in the windows of country houses in 18th-century England to ward off evil spirits! Some say the house dates back to the 15th century! Opened in 2007, this pub in the picturesque village of Lizard is in fact the most southerly in the UK, with a pleasant terrace and small garden. It serves some good, simple dishes, including fish of the day, burgers and even pizzas. There's also a good selection of Cornish beers. One of our favorite local spots.
