An address in the historic centre well known for its good traditional cuisine, with a special emphasis on seafood. The swordfish dishes are particularly tasty, and the seafood, raw or cooked, is very fresh. Warm and romantic atmosphere for refined dishes and an attractive wine list. The room is not very large and even the terrace fills up very quickly, so remember to book your table with a view, especially in high season. Very nice view of the sea from the terrace.

It is the most famous address of the city, the most touristic too (but which suffered from the earthquake). It is the oldest restaurant in Umbria, open since 1850. The management has preserved a setting conducive to peace and quiet, despite the hustle and bustle of rush hours, especially in summer. The restaurant at the Riviera Hotel. This restaurant has written the most beautiful pages of Sardinian gastronomy with its famous lobster and other dishes of regional culture. For fish lovers the choice is great: absolute freshness! With a large bay overlooking the sea, the atmosphere is summer. Attentive service.

The history of this osteria is worthy of a fairy tale for restaurateur. At the beginning, there are three sisters, Giovanna, Adelina and Nannina, who have the idea to create a little inn by the sea. At the time, Positano was only a small fishing village and the dishes were designed to sailors. Then the explosion of tourism, it became a gold mine. Today it is the young Luigi, the grandson of Giovanna, local star, which holds the cash desk, to the shelter behind its sunglasses. Of course, it is a beach, but remember his grandmother who was the guest to leave satisfied. The pizzas are generally quite decent and generous. The same applies to the rest of the dishes with a wide selection of wines from Campania.

Here, it is the authenticity, the love of the land and the freshness of ingredients that prevail. Raw materials come from small local producers, homemade bread, and fresh pasta and desserts. Products are magnified with simplicity in recipes of the molisan tradition. Varied and sought-after antipasti, delicious pasta and meat dishes, delicious pistachio cream to finish. If you order in time, you can use Termoli fish. Finally, the grandiose panorama on the hills and Lake Guardialfiera downstairs only accentuates the pleasure of a meal in these "Sacramento" lands.

It is simple, when we visited, the tavern displayed always full. The setting and the quality of the dishes naturally cropped of Naples since its opening. Regulars and tourists are on the same wavelength. The cuisine from Campania was excellent colour-bearer. A musician comes to push the song with the piano almost every night. Almost mandatory reservation.

A pizzeria-restaurant with a very Neapolitan ambiance. As its name indicates, it serves dishes based on mussels (cozze) but also some pizzas (15 varieties). The bright and colourful garden makes the atmosphere pleasant and Mediterranean. Among the dishes, try a'cozziata, a rich plateau of mussels and other specialties of the sea, and, as cheese, the famous mozzarella mozzarella, speciality Neapolitan speciality.

To take a pot or eat a small trattoria, this cafe, just a few metres from the Coliseum down via Cavour, is nice. We'll take for example lasagna, salmon penne or one of the many kinds of pizzas.

This multicultural and friendly place to live is a haven of peace in the bustling Ballaro district. Coworking area, solidarity restaurant at reasonable prices: Moltivolti wants to create social links since 2014. Here all walks of life come together for a meal, a drink, an exhibition or a conference. Moltivolti is a place of diversity and integration, and employs refugees, some from Afghanistan, others from West Africa. The restaurant and bar are used to finance projects. Another Moltivolti is now in Kalsa.

You won't soon forget this restaurant, open since 1910, a real institution with a beautiful terrace. The specialities: black risotto with squid, octopus salad with orange and fennel, maccaruna alla Filippino and sesame biscuits dipped in malvasia. But most of all, the fish is fried, grilled or in a sauce, delicately carved before being served. The Bernardi brothers also produce Italian wines and liqueurs such as the famous rosolio, the Moscato grappa and the Lipari malvasia: let yourself be tempted.

Without a doubt, our favourite in Nuoro. Shop and restaurant at the same time, you can come there at any time, either for a shopping session or for a delicious meal. The large terrace on the square is very pleasant in the evening. In the warmer hours, the elegant black and white air-conditioned room is a must. Here you can sit under large hop garlands and enjoy a typically Italian cuisine with a lot of creativity. Ravioli with squid ink, pasta with mussels and shrimps, half-cooked red tuna... It's beautiful and good at the same time. We love it!

This is THE restaurant in Porto Torres, the one everyone in town knows and has tried at least once. Set back from the street, well hidden behind a hedge of trees, it's located just opposite the San Gavino basilica. On the menu, good pizzas in a friendly, chic atmosphere, with pretty white tablecloths covering the tables. The seafood pizza topped with mussels and the Neapolitan pizza are a treat. This is authentic, popular and fresh seafood cuisine: it's worth the detour and the prices are low.

A sunny terrace at the foot of the castle, an inviting setting for mouth-watering cuisine - that's what awaits you once you've climbed to the top of Castello! Lobster from the Gulf of Asinara cooked Catalan-style, smoked langoustines with basil sauce, fish antipasti based on the catch of the day, orange crème caramel, cannolo with ricotta - these are just some of the tempting proposals concocted by the chef. We can't say it enough: this is our favorite address in Castelsardo, not just for the food, but also for the warm welcome and customer care. Bravo!

Attention jewel! Su Murruai, despite the modesty of its chef, is a real gastronomic address at a reasonable price. The fine decoration, the muffled setting and the light tones of beige are echoes of the nourishing earth. This finesse continues in the plate with dishes with frank and subtle flavors. The chef reminds me that we don't divert the product here, we serve it as it is so that it expresses all its essence. Slow food philosophy and zero km are the credo of the store. Extra fresh and high quality of course to reach such heights. We love it!

We love this restaurant which was recommended to us by the Hotel Corallaro. It is not a beach restaurant, you will not have your feet in the water, but your taste buds will remember it! At Pema we serve a bistronomic cuisine worthy of the best restaurants on the island. The refinement of the cuisine and the associations of flavors moved us: unforgettable linguine with sea anemone! As for the cooking of the octopus, it was just perfect. The decoration is superb, modern with a rustic touch, the staff and the chef are adorable. Bravo !

When a restaurateur tells you that people from Cagliari come to his place (an hour's drive away) just to taste the fish, we're doubtful. But once you get your feet under the table, everything becomes magical. Antonello is more than a chef, he's a true goldsmith. We were blown away by his refined and inventive recipes. Bravo maestro, we're verging on gastronomy! Unsurprisingly, this is the best restaurant in Mandas and the region. We were also won over by the kindness of the man who told us his story... to the music of Phil Collins.

It all started with a delicatessen opened half a century ago. The reputation of the establishment led the owner to create the restaurant in 2019. The secret of quality is simple, says the owner: "we have the slow food spirit, the animals come from my farm and the wine from small local producers. Among all the delights, we succumbed to the "confit" octopus, quite simply exceptional. For wines, close your eyes and let Simona advise you. All in all, Mates offers a true gastronomic experience. It's magical!

Welcome to Vito's, the very family restaurant located at the entrance of Sennori. It is an institution, not to be missed. Vito welcomes you in his beautiful house with a large dining room opening onto the terrace. The view is exceptional: you can see the island of Asinara in front of you and the tip of Stintino. It serves traditional Sardinian and home-made cuisine. The menu is made according to the availability of the food: oysters, octopus, sardines, spaghetti with cockles, fresh vegetables... Trust Vito, you will not be disappointed and the bill is not expensive.

In the heart of the Budoni pine forest, a beautiful address as chic as it is shocking! The young and daring chef gives free rein to his imagination by imagining an exciting cuisine where regional products are dressed in modernity. To give you an idea, the culurgiones here are with black truffles, the tuna in a mustard and pistachio sauce and the parfait glacé forgets hazelnuts and turns to mango. A setting that also lends itself to a drink at aperitif time, given that the bar has built up a solid reputation.

Let's get the suspense out of the way right away: Gianluca is a couturier of taste buds, and an evening at Liberty is a fabulous gastronomic voyage. He's equally at home with seafood and mountain produce: the octopus is to die for, and the meats are perfectly cooked. The finesse of the dishes reflects the setting - Liberty means Art Nouveau - and the staff. The wines are delicious, and you'll be advised by a real sommelier. Everything is beautiful and elegant! We spent a wonderful evening in a truly atypical and enchanting place.

The Nascar Hotel's restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best in the area. The careful selection of top quality products such as local red shrimp (so fresh that they are offered raw or marinated) or fish returns gives the cuisine a lightness and authenticity that is unmatched. Typical dishes like fregula or fish ravioli are executed to perfection. A few steps from the sea, the tables are set in a garden of holm oaks lit by the moon and candlelight ... Magical!

Da Lucio is the place to be on Marceddi. Situated on the seafront, facing the fishing boats, the restaurant has existed since 1971 and its reputation reaches every corner of Sardinia. It takes advantage of the many pelagic assets of the surrounding waters: black clams, mullet, sole, sea bream, sea bass, shrimps... A little extra of the house: the wine is a pure home-made production and the whole cuisine responds to the slow food movement, favouring local producers and products. Reservations are highly recommended, especially in summer.

A family atmosphere, very affordable prices, and recipes devised by Michelin-starred chef Andrea Fenoglio. This place can claim to serve the best pizzas in town, among some 55 establishments in Merano, thanks to meticulously selected ingredients skilfully arranged on dough rested for 48 hours and baked according to the authentic Neapolitan pizza recipe. The meal concludes with a perfectly balanced dessert. A particular favorite is the vanilla ice cream, turbinated à la minute and garnished with amarena cherries. Finishing it will be child's play!

Nicola, a young chef with a wealth of experience on the continent, set himself the challenge of giving this restaurant a second life. Binzas surprises with its original dishes and subtle, surprising combinations. We love the balance between colors and flavors, the choice to favor small wineries and to seek the beautiful in the simple. "Small is beautiful", just like the intimate dining room (barely 20 covers), with its sober, uncluttered yet warm decor. A romantic setting and an up-and-coming chef!

The first reason to come to Martini Beach is for the incredible panoramic terrace facing west and ideal for enjoying the sunsets. The establishment is spread over several levels, connected by wooden pontoons. Then, we like the lounge atmosphere like Café del Mar fed with good music, a decor "Robinson chic" and a staff always friendly. Finally, this place being at the same time a beach bar and a restaurant, we also come to taste delicious specialities... before making a splash, just below!

The hotel La Favorita has a panoramic restaurant, all dressed in blue and white, with a chic marine decoration. A boat inside to enjoy with friends, a play area for children, a bar to sip your aperitif... Everything has been planned to make the most of your meal. The menu offers a wide choice, including delicious seafood platters, fish, fresh pasta and above all a large choice of wood-fired pizzas. A small aperitif is offered when you place your order. Here the aesthetics are perfect, both on the plate and in the decor. This restaurant at the entrance to the Valley of the Temples has a chic, vintage and graphic setting: from the lighting fixtures to the floor ceramics and the wall china cabinet, every detail has been thought out. Gianni Giagoni has succumbed to the charm of the small square in the village of San Pantaleo to set down his pots and pans. Intimate and discreet, the restaurant occupies one of these typical houses of stone and canal tiles. Pots of fragrant herbs decorate the white tables. The glasses sparkle with the flame of candles or the sun. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxed. The cuisine is based on the freshness and authenticity of the ingredients. The fresh pasta is prepared by Mamma Natalina who knows all the secrets. You're sure to fall in love with it.

The restaurant is located on the beautiful promenade of Porto Maurizio and is one of the best addresses in Liguria. The room has high ceilings and a patio that is very popular in the summer months. The setting is contemporary, very comfortable, beautiful without being luxurious or ostentatious. The service is professional and the cuisine is its equal: red mullet with panisses, warm asparagus, black tagliolini with novellame and preserved lemons, passion fruit yoghurt and pinacolada cream make up the menu. Not to be missed!

As the years go by, Montebuoni remains THE sure bet in the Florence area. Former chef in France, Emilio renews his menu to present the best of Tuscany. Concerned about the quality of the products, he himself buys them and designs all the plates. The house is untreatable on freshness. A dish of pappardelle, Tuscan pasta, to start with. Then ask for snails, tuna or the excellent nirvetti (knee nerve) lying on toast. Moreover, on the markets of Florence, Emilio's recipe is sold.

In this restaurant, you can only treat yourself! The chef Daniele Caldarulo, and Emilio at the service, always with a smile on his face, will know how to pamper you to give the best of their cuisine. Excellent pizzas, like the whole menu. On the menu, tartars, risottos and pasta with a thousand flavours, fish with unimaginable recipes... The ricotta cake with its caramel cream is a delight, as is the dark chocolate cake with its white chocolate flowing, excellent value for money and very good wines.

In the historical centre, a welcoming and nicely decorated restaurant, adept of slow food. Organic cuisine, locavore (locally sourced), which ensures the quality of each product for high quality (but expensive) dishes. Divine crudo platter (raw fish), sublime antipasti plates. The steamed fish en papillote of leaves with herbs, capers, pine nuts and dried tomatoes was surprising and delicate, accompanied by a good glass of local grillo, the beautiful alliance! The menu included gluten-free specialities and vegetarian pasta.

This restaurant is a little out of the way. It's worth a detour. Specialising in fish and more particularly tuna, the chef offers a wide selection of dishes. Tartar, carpaccio, raw or cooked fish, always fresh and all caught in nearby waters, sea urchins and other delicious shellfish... The menu is constantly evolving. We are particularly fond of tagliata di tonno, linguine with sea urchins, breaded and lemon-breaded gurnard fillets. A guaranteed freshness, a very pleasant service and a modest but very careful and fair selection of wines. A good address.
