As the years go by, Montebuoni remains THE sure bet in the Florence area. Former chef in France, Emilio renews his menu to present the best of Tuscany. Concerned about the quality of the products, he himself buys them and designs all the plates. The house is untreatable on freshness. A dish of pappardelle, Tuscan pasta, to start with. Then ask for snails, tuna or the excellent nirvetti (knee nerve) lying on toast. Moreover, on the markets of Florence, Emilio's recipe is sold.

L'endroit est extraordinaire à l'extérieur (panorama) et à l'intérieur (œnothèque avec Mathusalem, etc., déco fort agréable). Le chef est hypersympathique, charismatique et passe souvent discuter de cuisine et de voyages. Comme il y avait un groupe, il a fait un risotto aux asperges en démonstration dans la salle à manger, en expliquant bien d'innombrables subtilités. Best risotto ever! L'assortiment de 4 recettes d'agneau pascal étaient fabuleuses. La salade avec des fleurs du jardin incroyable. De la grande cuisine italienne à prix très correct même pour un menu de Pâques vraiment all included. Expérience unique. Merci encore au patron!

Cibo nello standard ( mangiato però pochissimo e pagato tanto). Purtroppo si fa riferimento a gente che pensa solo a spennarti... Spostatevi di 5 km e mangerete meglio pagando decisamente meno, o meglio pagando il giusto.
