This trattoria is only open during the week at noon time and attracts a clientele of local employees and regulars in a friendly atmosphere. The menu changes daily and is available in primi, secondi and contorni at very economical rates. Classic land and sea dishes perfectly executed. A little "research opinion", this restaurant is fortunately known to all locals. It is located in the first parallel street on your right, at the exit of the station. The room has nothing extraordinary but it is clean. The neighborhood atmosphere is unique. We really feel in Naples at the Bergantino table. Opened since 1848, this is the oldest restaurant in the neighbourhood. Five generations of Bergantino followed his head.

Football lovers find themselves there, as the establishment shows all the champions League games on its giant screen. Inventive and fine, the Mediterranean cuisine of chef Domenico Candela enchants. His restaurant on the 6th floor of Grand Hotel Parker's offers a very chic and exclusive setting. The terrace in particular has a sumptuous view. Undoubtedly the most sought-after in the city, a small bar offers a wide choice of cigars. The service is courteous, elegant and discreet. In the evening, when the glow of the candles adds to the lights of Naples, it is hard to find a more romantic place. An address not to be missed for an exceptional moment.

A little bit of China just a few steps from the station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is frequented by the local Chinese diaspora and the Neapolitan. The decoration is typical of the dragon country, lantern, gold dragon, screen and carved wood. The room is vast and Chinese staff sometimes have difficulty speaking even in Italian. The service is, once the order is included, effective and fast.

In an alley near Santa Maria la Nova. To change a little of Mediterranean flavours, a good address of Chinese Cuisine imported from the Shanghai region. Rich and frankly cheap. A slightly kitsch frame to the image of most Chinese restaurants in Europe.

Locanda di Gaia is a brand new Restaurant Lounge, not far from the restaurants and pizzerias of Via dei Tribunali. A discreet place to the enigmatic staircase that goes down to the restaurant. Refined atmosphere, design furniture, like the bar wall, where the curious will enjoy reading maxims or verses, in a cosy musical atmosphere. Cheerful paintings animate the walls on the restaurant side and contrast with the black and white posters of the 50 s, side-by-side. Start with a Happy Hour aperitif composed of local crostini and gueules reviewed by Luca, the current owner. Then install yourself at the restaurant: Luca puts all his know-how and creativity in a quality kitchen, whose products sometimes have an unexpected origin: the patanegra pig comes from a region of Spain where the animals feed exclusively on acorns, chianino beef comes from the Maremma, in Tuscany, tuna comes from the vast Sardinia, Carloforte and the sheep come from the Shetland Islands! The cellar has over 150 labels. The result must not be missed under any pretext!

In the heart of a beautiful flower garden, in the refreshing shade of the lemon trees, the establishment is the spearhead of the local culinary tradition. A quick glance at the menu gives you an idea of the dishes on offer. Fish and seafood recipes feature prominently, but our preference is for the Procida rabbit, il coniglio alla procidana, a recipe unique to the island, with the scent of rosemary,
cooked with local herbs and vegetables and the ravioli di carciofi al sugo di coniglio (ravioli with artichokes and rabbit sauce).

Up in the mountains above Positano, this small restaurant with a rustic decor welcomes you, run by an old farming family. Here, for those who are tired of fish, the specialty is meat dishes. The brochettes accompanied by vegetables are copious and delicious. It must be said that all the products come directly from the fields or from the nearby farms. The view from the terrace is splendid, and the atmosphere much more authentic than in the center of Positano. The price-quality ratio is quite good for the place.
