This restaurant was originally a canteen for fishermen; it has become an unmissable address, one of the best on the seafront with, in addition, a magical view of the Bay of Naples! Maria, the daughter of the founder of the place, and her two sons, Gianluca and Vicenzo, take care of this restaurant, whose name pays homage to the prominent belly of its first owner. On the wall are photos of the many personalities who have come to enjoy typical fish-based cuisine, including Cannavaro, a close friend of Vincenzo's, and Ralph Fiennes.

Voto una stella per i seguenti motivi: la pasta era scotta, molte delle opzioni del menu non erano disponibili, il giorno successivo ho avuto mal di pancia, e i gamberi serviti presentavano ancora l'intestino crasso (le feci). Inoltre, il cameriere ha semplicemente lasciato i caffè sul tavolo senza servirli. Nonostante l'ambiente suggestivo, il prezzo medio di 23€ per piatto non è giustificato dalla qualità del cibo. Il conto era troppo elevato rispetto alla qualità del cibo, quindi consiglierei di cercare altrove e di venire qui solo per una passeggiata.

Esperienza indimenticabile! Cicciotto a Marechiaro è una istituzione, il panorama e la qualità dei suoi prodotti sono la combo perfetta per passare una giornata lì.
Le linguine con astice blu ed il filetto di tonno accompagnato da verdure grigliate sono stati fenomenali. Assolutamente consigliato!
