Located along the Ljubljanica River, this burger bar has made a splash in the city! The formula is disarmingly simple: American specialties - mainly burgers and ribs - excellently prepared in an open kitchen behind the pretty bar, a simple and neat industrial decor, and a warm pub atmosphere. The friendly chef did his training in the southern United States before starting his business in town. The meat is simply delicious and the selection of craft beers will delight the amateurs.

From the twentieth floor of the Hotel InterContinental, opened in 2017, the view over Ljubljana is breathtaking (we're even talking about the city's highest restaurant). In Restaurant B, the dishes are no less surprising. Prepared by local chef Komnen Bakić, the new menu aims to be international with Slovenia's plural influences. More or less a Thai canteen with large tables usually taken over by the students of Ljubljana. Indeed, it is one of the best places in town because the kosilo is very attractive in terms of quality/price ratio. Every day there is a selection of woks, curries and other Asian specialties as well as starters and desserts at much lower prices than in the evening. The most difficult thing will be to get a place to try their delicious gyozas and vegetable spring rolls. Wide choice for vegetarians.

It's the restaurant of the Kempinski palace-hotel, as much a Mecca of gastronomy, which has been awarded a Michelin plate. Inspired by the Italian film diva, it is named after Sophia Loren. Here, you'll find traditional transalpine recipes, concocted with products from the region's seaside or terroir. Revamped by the chef's brigade, the elegant table offers a menu of Mediterranean dishes, enhanced by exotic and refined Asian flavors. Reservations recommended.

A chic little bistro with a terrace in the heart of Villa Bianca has a dual function: it serves breakfast until 11:30 a.m., with a fine à la carte selection to satisfy both sweet and savory palates, as well as elaborate snacking options to share. The good news is that the prices are low and reasonable, so you can order several plates to nibble on over a drink, multiplying the flavors and prolonging the moment of conviviality. Service is meticulous and attentive, in a warm and elegant atmosphere.
