THE PIG'S EAR

Irish restaurant €€€

Located on the first floor of a building with character, this restaurant is a great success. The chef's philosophy is simple: to offer traditional Irish cuisine with its own touch of modernity, at a price accessible to all. A successful gamble! The dishes are fine and tasty, prepared with some organic products. The meal is served in a pretty room where the decoration is both sober and sophisticated. Among the house specialities, we can mention the lamb shepherds pie and the vanilla cheese cake. An excellent address.

A traditional and picturesque pub-restaurant on the shores of Lough Derg, which we are proud to share with you. Indeed, the charming decor is one thing (with this 300 year old cottage), but the very tasty menu is another. The menu changes very regularly, even every day in high season. We recommend the Irish cheese platter, including farmhouse cheeses from Tipperary, served with a glass of vintage port if you wish. A family run place not to be missed if you are passing through.

BESHOFF

Open - from 09h00 to 21h00

The Beshoff family originated in Russia and settled in Ireland in 1913. For lovers of fish & chips, the Beshoff is a must-try in the Irish capital. Numerous variations on the original recipe have been devised, with a range of fresh fish on offer (cod, salmon, haddock, skate), and it's also possible to eat (on the premises or to take away) chicken burgers or breakfast. The front of the store has more charm than the dining room itself, which looks rather cantine. But it's a hive of activity!
