The Ratelach is a bistro where you can relax after a dose of culture at the Kulturfabrik. Situated at the back of the courtyard, this quiet and friendly café is ideal for relaxing and chatting over a drink or a bite to eat. Indeed, although the place is mainly used as a bar (there is a range of beers!), a small restaurant is offered, with quiches, pizzas and vegan dishes. Small plays, literary evenings, concerts and game nights are regularly organised.

The Bei der Giedel restaurant is housed in a listed old house with a dovecote. Not to be confused with the café in Fond-de-Mines, where it once stood. The friendly, authentic setting serves tartines, omelettes, salads and meats, as well as Luxembourg specialities and fondues and raclettes. Parking is available, as is a large play area for children.

Throughout the day coffee offers different options to fill the small and meal: pastries, sandwiches, day dishes or homemade desserts. The refined surroundings include carnival themes and theatre. The Capuchin courtyard, in the centre of the old town and a stone's throw from the Théâtre des Capuchin, offers a quiet and pleasant setting, especially during the beautiful days with the terrace. Possibility to organize banquets and cocktails.

Closed and replaced by the Rhino Brasserie, Da Loneti is now back on the Clervaux culinary scene. This highly regarded restaurant is located on the first floor of the Hotel Le Clervaux. The menu features Italian specialties ranging from carpaccio and osso buco to a wide selection of pastas and risottos. Wood-fired pizzas complete the menu. Its terrace, in the heart of the pedestrian center, is very pleasant. Thanks to its success, the restaurant is often fully booked (especially at weekends): remember to make a reservation!

Located inside the train station, the Quai Steffen is a restaurant, brasserie and rotisserie. The menu is varied, ranging from Luxembourg specialties to grilled meats, as well as seasonal and vegetarian suggestions. The setting is very modern: the white walls contrast with the dark wooden bar and the black chairs. The restaurant is complemented by a take-away section, which offers pastries, sandwiches, salads, soups and hot dishes made in Luxemburg from local products.

In the heart of Belval, a stone's throw from the Université du Luxembourg and the Rockhal, Beeftro - a combination of the words "beef" and "bistro" - is a steakhouse like no other. Here, you can enjoy quality meat in a modern, elegant and trendy setting, in keeping with the industrial spirit of the premises. The menu offers a series of street food-style dishes to share, as well as a selection of meats cooked in four different ways (tagliata, Milanese, barbecued or as a burger). Vegetarian options are also available.

Restaurant and bar of the Beaufort ice rink, De Puck is a friendly place where the atmosphere is always in full swing. People come here after an ice hockey game or during a family outing to have a drink, nibble on a snack or eat a typical brasserie dish. You can choose between pizza, pasta, "bouchées à la reine" or cordon bleu. Events are regularly organized (check their social networks) and, in summer, a nice terrace is installed.

Quite discreet, we notice the Petit Bohème thanks to its very sunny terrace in summer... For good reason: it is nestled inside the Monoprix on Place Guillaume II. It would be a shame to miss this address of the Maison Mazelier group! Its interior, very cosy, honors its name with a rural but modern decoration. The menu, quite limited, is composed of salads, burgers, toasts and bruschettas. To accompany your choice, let yourself be tempted by a cocktail or the houseiced tea. Simple, fresh and efficient!

In the JongMëtt district, a few steps from the train station, you will find the Bistro Lënster, an establishment of the Concept+Partners group (which has many restaurants in the Grand Duchy). It serves generous, high-quality brasserie cuisine in a warm, ultra-modern setting. Cordon bleu, burgers, Gromperekichelcher (a Luxembourg speciality)... The menu is appetising and has several vegetarian and vegan options. We also appreciate the wide choice of cocktails, which we enjoy on the shady terrace.

Housed in a former watermill dating back to 1332, the Konsdreffer Millen now offers authentic local cuisine, using fresh, regional produce. The restaurant, divided into a bar, a large dining room, a veranda and a terrace, is the ideal place to gather with family and friends. In addition to the à la carte menu, Chef Alexis offers seasonal dishes and tasting menus. Plates are generous and tasty, while service is friendly and professional. A great address with no headaches!
