But you can also enjoy fish cooked with all kinds of sauces, wood-fired pizzas, or even an extravagant seafood platter with lobster. This restaurant with multiple views and friendly spaces has taken over an old house and was recently taken over by a new manager, hyper available for his guests. Just above, but slightly off the road between M'diq and Tétouan, this restaurant offers the catch of the day. Choose your meal from the sea bream, sole and whiting displayed in a refrigerated display case. The more economical option is to choose the fried shrimp, squid, fish and rice platter. The à la carte menu includes red mullet and monkfish, with a variety of salads and desserts to round things off. A small terrace lets you enjoy your meal outdoors. In summer, the wait can be long, as this is a very busy address.

Miramar has all the hallmarks of a beach-view restaurant... only better. Housed in the hotel of the same name, the dining room overlooks the Tangier marina. The dishes are simple but well executed. Fresh and varied salads with shrimps, tomatoes, hearts of palm and avocado. The sole meunière with vegetables is a particular success. The team is young, smiling and the service is efficient, giving the place a friendly atmosphere. Prices are relatively reasonable.

Opened at the end of 2022, this new Spanish restaurant invites you to indulge in a little local cuisine for a meal. The tapas and traditional paella specialties, the musical entertainment and the decor will transport you directly to the homeland of Barcelona chef Marc Ferrer. As the name suggests, there's a whole range of tapas, from the more classic (pimientos, polvo) to the signature (bomba de la Barceloneta). Tasty dishes that will delight children too, to be shared in a relaxed atmosphere.

A trendy address that makes Spanish tapas its specialty. Positive points: the nice decoration and comfort, the attentive service, the price/quantity ratio and the presence in the evening of a live singer. The very good gazpacho and the original date compote combined with breaded camembert stand out. This restaurant can be a good destination if you are staying nearby in the tourist area of the Agdal and want to watch sports broadcasts or plan to continue your evening in one of the neighbouring clubs.

As its name suggests, this restaurant has been delighting iodine lovers for many years. La Vitamine de la Mer occupies an old house, with a traditional style. Here you will enjoy fresh fish and seafood nicely prepared by a chef who knows his repertoire inside out. Clams, shrimp mayonnaise and fried food are among the great classics of the house. If the first floor is a bit cramped and dark with its brown roughcast, the terrace sheltered under a canisse is very pleasant.

Here's a little restaurant in the old medina that doesn't look like much, but where you can eat well and at low prices. It's frequented by regular Moroccans and a few tourists to whom we've recommended it. In addition to paninis, sandwiches and tacos, the menu offers good lava stone grills, meat stews and omelettes. Not to mention its excellent couscous, whether vegetarian, chicken or turkey. The dishes are tasty and hearty, for a very reasonable price. Excellent value for money.

Opening in 2021, this address right in the middle of Place des Ferblantiers, is resolutely focused on streetfood yet healthy cuisine. On the menu: falafels, wraps, pitas and bowls, filled with good stuff to devour guilt-free. All washed down with just the right amount of sweet homemade lemonade. The atmosphere is fresh and green, right down to the color of the parasols. The friendly French owner keeps an eye on things. Mazel ticks all the boxes: simple, good and efficient.

A breath of casual chic is what this address, opened in 2022, brings to the table. It was initiated by Lamiae, a jewelry designer, and her husband Seif, a photographer. In a bright and contemporary space, they offer a healthy Mediterranean-inspired cuisine appreciated by a modern clientele. Thai beef salad, squash risotto or Ottolenghi-inspired cauliflower are served at all hours. With a designer store and regular workshops upstairs, jazz and cool music, "Alma" is unique. Delivery and take-out.

Located in the middle of Assarag Square, this café-restaurant offers a welcome haven of peace after wandering the narrow streets of the souk. At Tomy Food, you'll find a large menu featuring mostly Western dishes, but with a few local specialties. A meeting point between the medina and the city center, close to the tourist areas and the beach. Very affordable prices, and carefully prepared dishes. You'll find quality burgers, tiramisus and a whole range of quickly prepared salads. A great place to grab a bite to eat, on a busy thoroughfare between several of the city's main thoroughfares.

Formerly "At Pierre", this renovated area has undergone incredible transformation. With its capricious glass façade, its walls and light armchairs and the purple whispers of the cards, the Frame Stone is very chic. Dedicated to all the night-owls of the city, the restaurant is open continuously thanks to the rotation of a friendly and motivated team. This is an excellent place to come and dine at any time of day and night.

This closed address is expected to reopen in the near future: Confirm the possibility of being served by telephone. You can order dishes such as Yassa chicken or other African specialties to eat on site, close to the Tangiers Med harbour, in a world of savane or emporter colours.

Taken over by the 16 Café team, My Kawa is as elegant and neat as his big brother. A colourful atmosphere for a light and tasty cuisine. On the menu, quinoa salad and baby sprouts, wraps, Moroccan breakfast with its amlou pancakes and an amazing menu of healthy smoothies made with seasonal fruits and vegetables. Gourmets are not to be outdone: macaroons and other homemade pastries are as beautiful as they are delicious. Special mention for the Trilogie d'Orient ice-cream cup with its original flavours of rose, mint tea and gazelle horn.

Here is an excellent address to eat Lebanese with an impeccable quality-price ratio. In this small restaurant, everything is well cooked from the starter to the dessert. Excellent and fresh tabbouleh. The hummus is perfectly mastered as well as the cooking of falafels and kebabs, not dry and tasty, accompanied by a labneh with zaatar. Chawarmas well seasoned, declined in complete plate or in sandwich according to the hunger. The knafeh is a marvel of delicacy and not very sweet like the mhalabia: light and so perfumed. Very friendly staff.

On the seafront, Côté Sud is an excellent address for eating fish and seafood. Facing the waves, on the beautiful terrace sheltered from the wind, there is an absolute quietude here reinforced by the refined decoration. Treat yourself to Dakhla oysters or a creamy burrata served on a tomato carpaccio with a pistachio pesto and a little balsamic cream. The paella and the grilled fish are delicious. For dessert, the destructured yuzu lemon pie is famous. Nice selection of wines and good welcome.

The Sofitel restaurant offers an intimate and elegant setting. In fine weather, you can dine here on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool, the hotel's splendid gardens and the Atlas Mountains. Ideal for a candlelit meal. On the plate, you'll discover a skilful combination of French and Moroccan gourmet cuisine. Try our foie gras terrine as a starter, followed by couscous with airy semolina, for example.

The sumptuous, refined decor, adorned with mosaics and crystal, awakens the senses. The cuisine at Le Palais du Jardin is traditional, but revisited with creativity and modernity. This restaurant is a sure bet at the Sofitel Agadir, combining the essence of Moroccan cuisine with French savoir-faire, a positive union that is reflected in the judicious use of Moroccan spices and the skilful presentation of dishes. Bab Doukkala Street sums up street food culture in a few hundred meters. Many small canteens serve fried fish and it's safe to eat sardines with the locals. You don't like seafood? The street offers a plethora of butcher shops and grills for a quick bite to eat. To complete the meal, women sell beghrir and msemen and during Ramadan, chebakias are considered to be the best!

Ideal for a meal on the go, Pasta Baladin is the restaurant of the riad of the same name located at the foot of the ramparts. If you've had enough of tajines and couscous, there's nothing better than a good pasta dish, available in all shapes and sizes. The restaurant adopts a sober, chic style for simple, effective cuisine. On the menu, different types of pasta with a choice of succulent sauces, including the famous carbonara. The products are of excellent quality and the portions generous. Special mention for the squid speccia .

Tucked away in the ancient medina, this charming riad will delight gourmets and interior decorators alike. With its intimate Moroccan lounges, bright interior patio, cosy terrace and bar area, there's a space for everyone. In the kitchen, the Moroccan chef and his team of dadas(Moroccan housewives) concoct tasty dishes using local produce. Depending on your tastes, you can choose from refined Moroccan or European cuisine. Special mention for the couscous, which melts deliciously in the mouth. Excellent service.

This unpronounceable name refers to the existence of a sieve factory (shtatto) transformed into a veritable den of creativity. To get to the top, you have to climb up and you will discover a hairdresser or a shop exhibiting avant-garde Moroccan designers such as Amine Bendriouich. Phew, arrived safely, we deserved to let ourselves fall on a green bench and be served like a pasha in the shade of the banana trees. It's no coincidence that Shtatto is one of the top 5 trendiest terraces in the city.

It's not easy to get to casa Sloukia, but tranquility comes at a price. First follow the Cap Spartel road before turning right at the "Sloukia" sign, then take the gravel road either with a good vehicle or in "hiking" mode. On arrival, the 360° view over the Strait is extraordinary. Enjoy traditional dishes such as this delicious farmhouse chicken tagine. This is more of a table d'hôte than a restaurant. Morimoto is the great gamble of bringing the signature Japanese flavors of a great chef to the doorstep of Morocco's Deep South. We can't help but be delighted by this proposal, especially given the public's enthusiasm for this cuisine from another world. The Fairmont Hotel in Taghazout, quite spectacular by the way, is the place to go for a feast in chic surroundings. It's hard to choose between tempura, miso lobster soup, toban yaki seafood, maki and sashimi, not to mention the robata grill selection. A moment of refinement and sharing.

Restaurant 27 is located within the Paradis Plage hotel. The Mediterranean cuisine is well worth the trip, and from the terrace you can enjoy a lovely view of the pool and the sea. The table features fish, the kitchens are on view and the service is pleasant. Admittedly, this is a tourist area rather than a gourmet restaurant, but it's hard not to be tempted by a table on the waterfront. Khalid, the happy owner of this restaurant, will give you a warm welcome and offer you simple, varied (but far from sophisticated) cuisine, with a focus on grilled meats and fish. On the menu, gambas or fried octopus, as well as traditional Moroccan tajine and dishes for children. If you're lucky, you might even find an evening with live music.

Dar El Fellah, on the outskirts of Tahanaout, is a large guest farm surrounded by mountains, ideal for large groups. The setting is really very pleasant and it has the merit of being one of the only restaurants in the village. Food made with organic products is fine, but prefer tagines to grills (a little lean for the price). The welcome is courteous, professional and relatively fast, but without much warmth. You will also find local products, animals and games for children.

The Hotel Sphinx restaurant is nestled in one of the city's most legendary buildings, built in the 1950s. The sleek, elegant setting overlooks the tree-lined garden and swimming pool. The restaurant offers refined, tasty international cuisine, served in sufficient quantity. On the menu: sole meunière, filet de Saint-Pierre à la sicilienne, paella royale with lobster or entrecôte... The place is as pleasant during the day in the garden as it is in the evening in an elegant room with a fireplace.

If you have a sudden craving for a tasty burger, just like at home, you've come to the right place! Traditional beef burgers or the local version with lamb mechoui, they come served on a wooden plank, accompanied by other fresh products: homemade fries, coleslaw (a kind of typically American coleslaw). The small restaurant is located on Ibn Aïcha street, the street of grill restaurants known to all Marrakchis, not far from the Montecristo. The atmosphere is warm and the service is efficient and pleasant.

FOD, for Food on demand, is above all a concept, an innovative customer experience. The first connected restaurant, it opened its doors in Guéliz, two years after the creation of a home delivery service.
