Since 2006, Casablanca has welcomed the creations of renowned Moroccan designers on the international scene. The multiple editions saw the creations of Hisham Oumli, Moroccan working in New York, Saïd Mahrouf, residing in Amsterdam, Amel Bouazizi who practiced in Rotterdam and Nourredine Amir, sailing between Paris and Amsterdam. A contest is organized for talented young talent and stylists can present their collection at fashion week. The latest edition took place at Sofitel Casablanca Blanche.

This feast commemorates Abraham's sacrifice of his son Isaac at God's command. At the last moment, God replaced the child with a ram. Aïd el-Kebir, also known as the "Feast of the Sheep", commemorates this event, and every Moroccan family sacrifices a sheep on this occasion. Only considerations of the utmost importance can disrupt this festival, as in 1981 and 1982, when the King asked that sacrifices not be made to avoid depleting livestock stocks affected by the country's drought.

The French Institute is organizing events as part of this international event. Vernissages, readings, film screenings and open stages in several emblematic places such as the Jemaâ el-Fna square, the Dar Charifa cultural center or the Faculty of Letters of Marrakech.

In Marrakech, at the Royal Theatre, on the square Jemaâ el Fna but also in many corners of the medina, the acrobats and contortionists are present in front of thousands of visitors for 3 days.

Founded by Mohammed V in 1959, this long-established festival has been declared a masterpiece of cultural heritage by Unesco. For 4 days, all kinds of events are presented, including street performances. In the El Badi Palace, you can admire traditional dances and folk costumes from the various Moroccan regions. All the shows staged throughout the year to mark the moussems (popular festivals) are represented on this occasion.

In Morocco, as elsewhere, Ramadan is the most important month in the Muslim calendar, and the whole country lives to the rhythm of obligations and piety. This period of spiritual and carnal purification consists of not eating or drinking, from dawn to the hour "when the eye can no longer distinguish a white thread from a black one"... but also of exercising a discipline more deeply rooted than usual, notably in prayer, almsgiving and all the sacred rites of Islam. At nightfall, people hurry to enjoy ftour (harira, milk and dates) and break the fast.

3 days of electronic and digital celebration between the medina of Essaouira and its beautiful beach. To the program: musical brunches, educational workshops and digital video installations. The evenings leave the sounds with international and Moroccan labels. The festival takes place in different places of the city, the invitation always seems pleasant and friendly to the party, offering views of the ocean and DJ sets in the heart of a Riad…
