Read moreIts unique shape is striking as soon as you reach Kilpisjärvi. This mountain has always been sacred to the Saami people, and its summit rises to 1,029 m. Once at the top, effort is rewarded. Magnificent views of the lake and mountain... and potentially of the northern lights. The ascent and descent take around 6 km, and are accessible to all. Be careful with small children, though, as it's a long way up. In terms of time, allow four hours, or even five if you want to take your time, from the Hiking Center.

Be careful, you must be at least 7 years old and measure at least 1.20 m except for the first course, which is accessible to everyone. Then, several course colours as on the ski slopes, green, blue, red and black which give an indication of the difficulty of the tests. For the black course, for example, it must be at least 1.50 m long. We love it, we have fun and if we are in difficulty, we count on the help of the staff!
