Pints of beer cost around £3.50 or £4. If in general, there is no "happy hour" as we know it in France, some "beers of the month" are sometimes on promotion. The rare discotheques do not generally charge for entry on condition that you drink.

Night transportNight transport

To return to the hotel after a long evening, no public transport. It will be the cab. For £7 or £8 you can get around the city, to Saint-Hélier or Saint-Peter-Port.

Age restrictionsAge restrictions

As in France and the United Kingdom, the legal age for entering an establishment that serves alcohol alone is 18.

As in France, it is forbidden to smoke in pubs and night bars. Except on the terrace of course.
