On the St-Pauli docks, just steps from the Altona fish hall, there is excellent fish on the beautiful square facing the harbour. Very good herring, plaice, redfish, flounder, salmon, with a délicieuse or wonderful Kartoffelsalat… and when it is season, mussels!

" The Symphony of Excellence. This is one of the 11 stars of the Michelin Guide of Germany, housed in the Grand class Traube Tonbach. In a round of this building - in addition to modern aspects - with a ceiling of the large wooden panelling decorated in style with the Old Regime accents, the creations of Harald Wohlfhart, which is simply one of the greatest contemporary cooks, are enjoyed. The wine cellar, Stéphane Gass, is the wine cellar, combining the finest wines with Mr. Wohlfahrt's science.

Its generous space recalls the pleasant atmosphere of a loft where you can take your time, and the coffee served is undoubtedly one of the best in the area. All kinds of dishes and drinks are available, including vegan, vegetarian and lactose-free. All dishes are homemade and seasonal. We recommend the vEgg, a sandwich with scrambled tofu and homemade mayo, much appreciated by regulars. Last but not least, the small courtyard at the rear of the building is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet moment overlooking the Jewish Museum.

The three Michelin-starred Bareiss restaurant is located in the very luxurious eponymous building in the heart of the central hamlet of Mitteltal. Like its competitor (and accomplice!), it relies on elegance, classicism, and luxury, within the framework of a first-class hotel establishment. Comfortably seated in a Louis XIV armchair, in the middle of a room covered with wood panelling from wall to ceiling and embellished with a fireplace, you will taste the flavors of Claus-Peter Lumpp, an artist of gastronomy who cultivates excellence and creativity.

With the best view of the town hall and the carillon thanks to its beautiful bay window, this café is an institution appreciated by grandmothers and school children alike. Located on the^fifth floor of a building facing Marienplatz, this restaurant with its wooded bar offers many typical dishes but also more Latin cuisine. The menu, in German only, is an invitation to be surprised. And it is often very good! The service is fast and pleasant. Finally, the heating placed under the benches is a joy in winter.
