The BVG - Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe - is to Berlin what the RATP is to Paris. On its website you will find maps of the network and all the fares for regular tickets (single journey, booklets, day tickets, weekly tickets, etc.). The BVG application is useful for calculating its routes. The BVG also has two information centres, at Alexanderplatz and Zoologischer Garten, where you can buy tickets but also souvenirs (bags, flip-flops, glasses, mugs, etc.) with company motifs.

The central station is impressive. Built according to the plans of architect Meinhard von Gerkan and designed as a glass cathedral, it was inaugurated in 2006. Since then it has been connected to other modes of public transport. It is served by three bus lines, the central S-Bahn line (S3, S5, S7, S9), the underground line (U5) and the tram lines (M1, 5, 8, 10). Berlin's main railway station also has a tourist information office.

Prien am Chiemsee is a German town on Lake Chiemsee. Among the town's tourist attractions is Chiemsee-shipping Ludwig Feßler KG, a shipping company offering boat trips on the lake. Another popular attraction is the Chiemsee-Bahn, a former steam tramway line linking Prien railway station with the port of Prien/Stock. Steam train journeys take place at weekends, while diesel train journeys take place on weekdays. Prien am Chiemsee is also famous for its castle, Schloss Herrenchiemsee, which is open all year round, except for official receptions. The city is served by an extensive network of tram, bus and metro. Do not hesitate to ask for information in Hauptbahnhof in particular.

Stuttgart station is first and foremost a monument: built during the First World War, it is huge with its high-ceilinged halls and its tower topped with the Mercedes logo. This is a good reference point. It is at the centre of a controversy: the "Stuttgart 21" project to transform this leading station into an underground TGV station has divided the city, or even the state, for several years. The project, which began in 2010, is not expected to be completed until 2024, according to official estimates, five years later than the planned start-up in 2019. What is its objective? The aim of this project is to make Stuttgart a railway junction integrated into the Paris-Bratislava high-speed railway line. The cost also causes an outcry. Its budget, set at €4.5 billion, has increased to €7.6 billion. It therefore includes the construction of the underground station, 60 km of railway track and 16 tunnels. As for you, travellers, you will find yourself in the middle of a construction site. This will not prevent you from taking the train. Trains to Berlin in 5h30, Munich 2h30, Tübingen 1h, Ulm 1h, Schwäbisch Hall 1h10.

Opened in 1882, the "Zoo" station today has 6 tracks and 3 central platforms, two for regional trains and one for the S-Bahn. Inherited from its status as the main station of West Berlin, it continues to be very well served by public transport. The station is located on the U-Bahn lines 2 and 9 and on the central S-Bahn line (S3, S5, S7, S9). There are also numerous bus lines on the Hardenbergplatz esplanade as well as cabs.

After 14 years of construction, the Willy Brandt Airport Berlin Brandenburg opened in 2020 and is among the 15 largest airports in Europe. It replaced the two former Berlin airports, Tegel and Schönefeld. Brandenburg Airport is located 18 km southeast of the city center and serves as the main base for the airlines EasyJet, Ryanair and Eurowings. Expansion is planned for 2035 to increase passenger capacity from 45 to 58 million per year.

Bodensee Schiffsbetriebe is a small fleet of around ten boats. It offers a range of services. It's possible to buy a ticket to cross the lake (ideal if you have an eye on the watch, the crossing varies between ten minutes and half an hour depending on the point of departure), or sightseeing trips lasting several hours. This slightly more expensive option offers themed tours, some of which focus on castles or museums. It's an original way to discover the region. Vehicles can be taken on board.

In addition to its rich and varied program of guided tours (available in French), Berlin on Bike also offers a classic bike rental service for adults and children. With a network of 620 km of bike paths, this is a great way to get around the capital! It's practical, fast and environmentally friendly.
