The spot is just as good for learning to kitesurf as it is for foiling. The school offers two-hour introductory lessons, multi-day introductory courses and advanced courses. For a feeling of freedom, opt for a paddle. The best way to enjoy the scenery and nature around îlet Pinel is to kayak and snorkel to discover the underwater riches. Guided tours are guided in English only. The crossing is easy, but if you don't want to take part, you can simply take the shuttle to the islet. You can also rent a paddle, as the sites of îlet Pinel and Grand-Case are particularly well-suited to this activity.

The club, which includes SXM Surf Club and Windy Reef, is located on Galion beach, a 5-minute drive from Baie Orientale or a 20-minute walk along the beach. It's THE main surf spot on Saint-Martin, with a regular wave 350 days a year, which the club takes you to by boat. This FFS-certified surf school has been in existence since 1995, and Jean-Seb is a passionate and highly educational teacher. The school offers children and adults introductory courses for beginners, training for intermediates, and pro coaching.

While Wind Adventures has been the island's leading kitesurfing center since 1998, it was originally a sailing and windsurfing center in Orient Bay. Now it's even more than that. In addition to kitesurfing and windsurfing, the center offers stand-up paddle, kayak, wingfoil and Hobie cat lessons (and rentals), as well as catamaran cruises (Anguilla, Tintamare and Saint-Barth, among others) and eco-tour boat trips to see dolphins and humpback whales.
