This is the place to be if you're celebrating your arrival on the Dutch side for the first time. You're immediately immersed in the Caribbean-American ambience of the Dutch side. The colors, the wood, the thick-crust pizzas, the burgers, the happy hours... And above all, the unobstructed view of the magnificent Maho beach and the thundering waltz of aircraft landings (timetables at the entrance so you don't miss a thing). The place is certainly very touristy, but the service is cheerful and always ready to help you discover the best cocktail of the moment.

The two-for-one concept works like a charm, and the clientele is loyal. The establishment has been in existence since 1986 (the owners have created another Green House in Saint Thomas and Simpson Bay). Every night of the week has its own program. Happy hours have made Green House famous. The restaurant's relaxed, welcoming atmosphere ensures you'll have a wonderful time. At Simpson Bay, there's also an on-site swimming pool to cool off in. A wave of good vibes for this bar-grill with the look of a colorful hut. It's a strategic spot for a break before or after a long flight! The relaxed atmosphere, the reggae-tinged music and, above all, the excellent burgers have made this spot famous. People come here to eat, but also to relax over a local drink. The place is popular with locals who like the authentic feel and reggae attitude. Numerous concerts are held here at weekends.

One of St. Martin's historic night spots. The Rainbow Café is the ideal place to sip a delicious cocktail barefoot on the beach while admiring the sunset, or to enjoy brunch on the rooftop. The restaurant-bar is easily recognizable by its facade and red deckchairs on Grand-Case beach. The chef offers a fusion of Asian, Mediterranean and Caribbean cuisine: sushi, Korean fried chicken, shrimp tempura, accras, pizzeta and more. In short, there's something for everyone. Every evening, a DJ entertains on the terrace.

Will you have good luck in the Caribbean? Tropicana Casino is part of the Princess Group. It is one of the island's newest gambling paradises. Every night the main stage is taken over by thematic shows. Its 238 machines are the most modern of the moment (Queen of Cairo-Ocean, Dream-Dolphin, Treasure-Instant Winner and many others). They are sure to satisfy the cravings of even the greatest gamblers! For the classics, there are card games, table games, poker, blackjack and roulette.

This complex still holds the title of the largest casino on the island and is also one of the largest in the Caribbean. You first follow a large alley in the middle of perfectly maintained green spaces before arriving on the huge parking lots of the casino. While escape games - a cross between a treasure hunt and a life-size Cluedo - have flourished all over the world in recent years, there were none on Saint-Martin, until Enigma Time opened in 2022. Since then, the establishment has never been empty. How does it work? You're locked in a room with your team, and you have to solve a series of riddles before the 60-minute time limit expires (or you'll be released, of course). It offers two rooms: Vengeance at the Casino and Bloodqueen Mysteries, themes that make sense in Saint-Martin.

The ideal spot for happy hours and meetings with American tourists who love the place! It is the den of the Caribbean pirates. An open-air bar, with wooden kiosks reminiscent of old boats, colorful benches and tables, parasols made of palm leaves. The decor is friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. One settles down on a deckchair in the shade of a parasol while refreshing oneself with drinks. In the evening concerts are organized, as well as animations on the beach. A fiesta atmosphere is guaranteed.

Chez Max is the favorite meeting place for sailors who have dropped anchor in Grande-Case. At sunset, everyone gathers around the counter to drink a cold beer or a ti-punch, while discussing the weather and the cruise. Places are limited, but you can have your drink on the pontoon to admire the turquoise waters of the lagoon. Chez Max is also the bar where you can watch European soccer matches. It is possible to order some snacks to nibble with friends: acras, sandwiches, etc.

After a day on the beach contemplating the azure blue of the Caribbean Sea, it's nice to get active in the evening in a different shade of blue! The Blue Martin is one of Grand-Case's must-visit spots for a relaxed, fun-filled evening. It attracts crowds who come to sway to the rhythms of the weekend concerts (reggae, soul, Caribbean music...) while enjoying a fine meal. The house is famous for its steak house. A tempting program for memorable live evenings.

Rebuilt after Irma, slightly relocated on the beach and renamed (its former name was Waikiki), the Waï is a beach bar/club and restaurant. It's undoubtedly the most Caribbean of the East Bay's "5 stars", as much for its colorful decor as for its Caribbean-style cuisine. The menu features tapas, burgers and salads, as well as meat and fish dishes. It's also an opportunity to try the famous bokits, which are gastronomic here. Or sip cocktails and sway your feet in the sand to a concert or DJ set .
