Originally located in Marigot, Chay's Thaï has, over the past few years, taken up residence in Mont Vernon. This relocation has not altered its status as one of the island's best Thai restaurants. The cuisine, simple and subtle, is always tasty and the spices, herbs and aromatics always perfectly balanced. A warm welcome. You can order takeaway or eat on the terrace. It's so delicious and cosy, you'd almost forget you're next door to the Leader Price parking lot. Special mention for the bò bún.

Opened by a Frenchman near the American University campus, this Thai restaurant offers authentic and refined cuisine. The chef tries to cook as much as possible with local and seasonal products. But he also prepares some imported specialties, like Sua leung reina pepiada: thin strips of beef marinated and grilled to perfection, or Kaï yang, fried chicken flavored with lemongrass! The terrace is very pleasant after dark, to enjoy the cool night air.
