Located in a peaceful area near the Ak-Bulak river, the Ethno Hotel offers a pleasant stopover. It combines the amenities and comfort of a 3-star hotel with the authentic charm of a boutique hotel. The tone is set as soon as you arrive: in the lobby and public areas, stone, brick, adobe, woodwork and delicately wrought tapestries are combined with a very sure taste. Rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The small swimming pool is a real bonus on hot summer days.

The Osh hotel located a little out of town, is the former Intourist of the Soviet era. But the reception has remained the same. The rooms are however ok (visit several of them: some have a small living room and a television and can be negotiated; others have very capricious warm water) and even offer a pleasant view if you are upstairs. But the rates are definitely too high (they still apply rates for locals and tourists here). Try to negotiate. A casino, a restaurant and a café are at the entrance of the hotel. Breakfasts are served at the restaurant and come as an extra charge of the room (100 to 150 soms according to the order).

The 28 rooms of this grand hotel, close to the Vieille Place, are irreproachable from all points of view. The establishment is owned by the tour operator Celestial Mountains and offers the same quality of service. Large rooms, very pleasant to live in, comfortable and well equipped, with a kitchen for the suites. The location is excellent, as is the value for money. Remember to book in advance for the high season. You can enjoy the summer bar, located in the hotel's gardens, which is very pleasant at the end of the day.

Without breaking the bank, you can enjoy comfortable, carefully decorated rooms with spacious bathrooms. The location is good, around 15 minutes' walk from Tsum, but rooms at the rear are preferable to avoid the noise of Chuy Boulevard. The staff are very attentive and the breakfast buffet is an indicator of a good start to the day! You can reach the center, at Tsum level, in around 20 minutes on foot, or in 5 minutes with one of the many marchroutka on Chuy prospekt.

Pleasant little hotel in the colours of the old Russian colonial houses, pastel green. It offers a warm welcome and a pleasant setting, with its inner courtyard and sauna, when returning from a hike. The rooms are simple, sober and comfortable, equipped with a functional bathroom. The beach is a 20-minute walk away. It's a bit far from the centre, you'll have to be transported or take taxis (about 1 € per trip) to get to the city, but if you go beyond that and want to stay in a quiet and green setting, here is the address you need. The rooms are large and comfortable, most of them overlook the owners' beautiful garden where it is nice to stroll on summer evenings. The breakfast, copious and varied, is taken in the large room lit by its bay windows. A very pleasant stay, close to the ski slopes and trekking circuits.

Set up more like a home than a hotel, you'll feel right at home in its cosy, chic and relaxed atmosphere. Spacious rooms with particularly comfortable bedding. The bathrooms are equally spacious, with large bathtubs and modern amenities. The breakfast buffet is particularly generous. The garden surrounding the hotel deserves a special mention: vast, lush and pretty with its beautiful trees and flowering bussions, it houses a delightful swimming pool and several gazebos decorated in traditional style.

The rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms impeccable and the breakfast copious. Sportsmen and women make no mistake, many of them come here to enjoy a well-deserved rest after a trek or a climb. The establishment being set back from the street, the few takhtans in front of the entrance are a good spot to linger and get to know each other in the evening. The staff is very friendly and will do everything to make your stay as easy as possible. Swimming pool and parking for 25 cars is a nice plus. The whole thing is a 15-minute walk from the bazaar...

The elegant nine-storey building stands in the heart ofBishkek, a stone's throw from the White House, nightlife, good restaurants and numerous shopping malls. You couldn't find a better place to enjoy the city. The staff is particularly affable, fluent in English and trained to an excellent level to satisfy the guests of the Plaza Hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious and equipped with top-of-the-range furniture specifically designed for the hotel which optimally combines comfort and design.

We fell in love with this establishment, which opened just before the pandemic. This charming hotel, with its sleek contemporary decor, offers 46 spacious rooms (including one accessible to disabled guests). Excellent bedding (ergonomic mattresses), air conditioning and state-of-the-art equipment. The welcome and diligence of the staff are already renowned, as is the quality of the food and beverage, particularly the tasty and generous breakfast buffet. Slightly out of the way, but given the price of cabs and the friendliness of the staff, it's easy to forget.

Adjacent to the botanical garden and 5 minutes drive from the city centre, this hotel offers spacious rooms with a chic and romantic style, high quality bedding, large cosy and designer armchairs, multiple attentions and services, contemporary and fully equipped bathrooms, very professional, affable and English-speaking staff. The hotel has many assets, but the best for us lies in its huge roof terrace at the top of the building, with a panoramic view of the city and the snowy peaks of the Ala-Too Mountains.

This holiday centre is a grouping of sharp bungalows on the shores of the lake. It is equipped with volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. Possibility of renting scooters and catamarans. This yurts camp is located 700 m from the shore of the lake, in a beautiful meadow surrounded by mountains. All kinds of activities are proposed: Horse riding with guide, eagle hunting, rental of catamaran, organisation of folk concerts…

Small bungalows of 2, 3 or 4 people in a large wooded park. Tennis court, badminton, billiards, table tennis, disco, bar. Hiking in the mountains.

Near the park, a new and western hotel, with clean, bright and rather spacious rooms. Hot water is sometimes fanciful but still quickly restored. The whole remains very impersonal and without great character, but if you are looking for comfort, this is what you will find better in Jalalabad. Restaurant and outdoor terrace along the park. Some rooms can be noisy, taking into account the many speakers who broadcast music in the park.

A very fine establishment, all the more appreciable for its modest proportions, far from the usual big machines. The location is also very good, close to the city center. The rooms are beyond reproach and the establishment is well-maintained by the staff. Space, light, thick carpeting and comfortable mattresses. The spa area is a plus, even if the pool isn't very large. To its credit, it's there when you return from long walks in the summer heat! Luxury at a more than reasonable price..

The hotel enjoys a privileged location close to the city center, opposite the Dungan mosque. The reception is on the second floor, and while there's nothing glamorous about the decor or the charm, the whole place is perfectly suited to a prolonged stopover in Karakol. The rooms are of a fairly high standard, the bathrooms aren't dreamy but work perfectly, and the staff are all smiles - what more could you ask for? The breakfast in the basement is decent, but nothing more, and you can negotiate the room rate down if you prefer to take it elsewhere.

As for dining, the town offers very little choice when it comes to accommodation, but this establishment will do just fine. The family who have transformed their house into a small hotel are charming and have done a good job, with single or double rooms and others that can be used as dormitories. It's all in simplicity, but that's all it takes to make a pleasant base for discovering the region. Breakfast is hearty, and you can organize guided horseback rides in the surrounding area.

If you've criss-crossed the region on horseback or on foot, slept in yurts and chained transport on bumpy roads, or if you're just a stickler for comfort, you'll be happy to book into this small establishment close to the town center, offering pretty, well-furnished rooms and bright, pleasant spaces. No frills necessarily, but good mattresses, hot water and a hearty breakfast give this hotel the best value in town.

A modern, colorful building (red and orange, impossible to miss) with comfortable, bright rooms. The price is high for the category, but the hotel is fairly recent and the overall package is reasonable for the services offered. The downtown location is a plus. The restaurant serves well-balanced European and Central Asian specialties. The hotel is especially popular in winter, because of its proximity to the ski slopes. Transport to the slopes is included in the room rate.
