The caipirinhas are said to be the best on the island! Expensive but good.

Marius Degustare is a restaurant not to be missed in this wonderful city. It's a far cry from the sleek design of the Lasai and its almost surgical cuisine. Here, in a decor that gives the impression of entering a pirate's lair, the restaurant offers a gargantuan buffet featuring noble products, especially seafood such as lobster, oysters, crab? The service is top-of-the-range and rich in colour. It's quite simple, the Marius is unanimously acclaimed. Of course the note is salty too...

This former ^17th-century house is certainly a romantic restaurant. Casa da Gamboa specializes in seafood. We'd particularly recommend the tasty moqueca de camarão(they must have something the others don't...), but the menu offers many other interesting dishes. One of the specialties for which diners come from all over the region is undoubtedly the lobster. One of the unmistakable flavors of the house is undoubtedly the quality of the service, the attentiveness and the smile of the team.

Mar & sol is a restaurant now established as a benchmark on the island. It is reached on foot from the das conchas lighthouse. The place is simple and pleasant. The menu is quite varied, but the main attraction is the fish specialties, especially the moquecas, and the seafood, especially the casquinha de siri. The moqueca de camarao, as good as in Bahia, is more than enough for two guests. During the high season, the Mar & Sol is a victim of its own success, and you sometimes have to wait a little before being served. Expensive but good.

The show continues when you read the creative menu and, of course, taste the dishes you've ordered. La Garota de Itaunà is a large, colorful restaurant that has established itself as one of Itauna's most interesting eateries. It's a great beach establishment, simple and friendly, as you'd find in the Nordeste. Of course, it serves excellent fish (grilled fish with Maracujà sauce, Itauna-style prawns), but also tasty meats (churrasco), served in generous portions. Good value for money. Nice view from the balcony. An excellent place to watch the sun set over the sea.

Rufino's is a popular traditional Guaruja eatery, offering good fish as well as a curiosity: tamarutaca (lobster) with milk and paprika sauce. This address was opened in the 70s by the eponymous founder, a native of Spain. For almost half a century, the menu has offered the same recipes. Here, the house principle, which the chef makes a point of respecting, is to produce fish dishes...that taste like fish. We accompany these noble products with just a little olive oil and spices.

The Kaskata Flutuante is an institution in Cáceres. This boat-restaurant is wisely and permanently moored on the banks of the Rio Paraguay. It serves a simple and quality pantaneira cuisine. The specialty is pintado no espeto (freshwater fish cooked in tasty skewers with garlic and coconut milk) and the meat of farmed crocodile. This boat is of course a must-see venue, which can accommodate up to 100 guests. Located near the city center of Cáceres, easy to access, the view of the river is very pleasant.

You can enjoy prawns, oysters, scampi, lobsters, with a little Italian touch (the seafood pasta is a must try). The misto de crustáceos, a selection of the best seafood, allows you to appreciate the diversity of the offer. The atmosphere is subdued, the service is refined, and everything is there to spend a pleasant moment with your partner. There is an annex of the satyricon in Buzios.
