The meeting of all carnivores. Specialty: cordero al-palo. Yes, the sheep is cooked in the main room, which finds itself smoked… Some of them are disturbed, but in our view it is part of the atmosphere, especially as the (very local) garden is nice as everything. Small adjoining room for smokers, less pleasant. Another corner (the «Shameless club») where you can play cards. Consistent pricing. A good address, that we prefer to Don Jorge on the same place (much more touristic and impersonal according to us).

If the Viking longships had reached the Chilean coast, their occupants would undoubtedly have set up a tavern like this! In an exquisite setting dominated by helmets, swords, spears and shields, you take your place in elaborate leather seats before voraciously examining the menu. The menu features grilled meats (entrecôte, baby ribs and a Thor burger!), as well as an excellent paella. All to be washed down with ice-cold beers!

The rendezvous for all carnivores: here you can eat the best meat in Latin America! It's definitely the best place to eat in Puerto Montt. We tried the lomo vetado, and we still can't get over it: it is indeed a delight! Also try the filet or lomo liso. It's melt-in-the-mouth and divinely cooked. Plus, the concept is nice: you choose what you want and adjust to the weight. Excellent welcome and service, under the leadership of South African Jeremy, in a sublime setting overlooking the bay.

We serve a tasty and different gastronomy based on game: deer, roe deer, wild boar or wild rabbit, the menu is nice! More basic dishes such as soups and pizzas are also available. An ideal break after a long day on the slopes. We particularly appreciate the setting, both inside - carpets made of animal skins and fireplaces - and outside, with the view of the forest and the volcano.

A very good meat restaurant with a rather exciting price-quality ratio. The embers are delicious (ask for Wagyu's lomo vetado), but the seafood (for example the Ecuadorian camarones) and risottos left us with good memories. Although popular, the address is not one of those "tourist traps" where you will be badly served and unwelcome, quite the opposite: the waiters are charming and friendly and some of them will be able to translate the map into English for you.

Excellent meat table in a pleasant setting (patio open to the back). Of course we come here for the parrillada, very good and copious: filet mignon, bife ancho, asados... The cooking is perfect and the meat tasty. Grilled salmon with mustard is also very good. Save a place for desserts! We recommend chocolate waffles or the famous "Maga Cup" (vanilla ice cream, caramel, chocolate and whipped cream). An address by the fire, friendly and definitely for the viandards! We speak English and Spanish.
