Every Friday morning, the traditional market takes place in and around the Riscle market hall, featuring local producers. Don't look for an old market hall in the central square, as in many Gers villages. Here, it's a 1950s building at the entrance to the town. You'll find a wide range of specialities from South-Western farms, fruit and vegetables, as well as a fishmonger and even a delicatessen. Small in size, but big in quality, this gourmet rendezvous sets the pace for life in the town.

Victimof its tourist, cultural and economic success, the town of Eauze has seen its traditional Thursday morning market grow so much in the summer that it has decided to set up an additional market. Every Sunday morning in July and August, Eauze welcomes local producers and artisans for a catch-up session. Close to the Saint-Luperc cathedral, a good twenty local producers gather on the beautiful Place d'Armagnac, with its medieval vaulted arcades and pleasant cafés sometimes enlivened by local bandas.

The annual Soulac Gastronomic Fair takes place around August 14th and 15th in Place Aliénor d'Aquitaine. A must if you are staying in Bormes or its surroundings with colourful, picturesque and fragrant markets awaiting you.On Wednesday mornings, it is the big weekly marketplace Saint-François, in the old village. From May to September, on Saturday mornings, there is a Provençal market at La Favière, in the market car park.In July and August, there are night markets on Monday evenings at La Favière, on Tuesday evenings at Place Saint-François (craft market), and on Friday evenings on the port.

The Place Jacquard market is held four times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings. If it's held so often, it's because it's a sure-fire success. The square is always packed with people. This is a colorful market. Here you'll find a wide range of Maghreb products, including clothing and textiles, fruit and vegetables of course, as well as knick-knacks and gadgets, expired products, underwear, discontinued items, lots bought at auction following the liquidation of a store... In other words, if you come here regularly, you'll be able to score a bargain!

On Wednesday and Saturday mornings, numerous producers and greengrocers, some of them organic, meet here. You'll find everything you need to concoct tasty dishes: eggs, vegetables, seasonal and exotic fruit, cheese, meat, breads, flowers... An Italian caterer travels from Turin to sell his pasta, ravioli and gnocchi, while an oyster farmer occasionally comes up from the Etang de Thau to sell her shellfish. There are also a few clothing vendors. A growing market, with aisles widened following the 2020 health regulations, and which regularly welcomes new traders.

Marc, Anne-Marie, Bruno and Guy, the 4 "Copains des champs", created the shops in Eysines and La Teste-de-Buch with the aim of developing direct sales, short circuits, total traceability of origin and the promotion of the know-how of small producers in the region and sometimes a little further afield. You can buy butchery, charcuterie and poultry as well as trout, vegetables and seasonal fruit, dairy products, groceries, ready-made meals, preserves, wines, fruit juices, etc.

The weekly market of Forcalquier is one of the most famous markets of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages. Every Monday, it brings together several thousand people who come to enjoy the presence of 200 exhibitors. In the summer, it grows by 50 merchants. A real institution! Every summer, this 100% organic market is held in the park of the Musée des Métiers du Bois. It seduces by the variety and quality of the food supplied by local producers: dairy products, tasty breads, fresh vegetables, Vosges meat, aromatic plants and condiments, Alsatian wines and craft beers. But also fruit juices, honeys and jams, soaps and cosmetics, basketry, floral arrangements, wooden decorative objects... We appreciate the always very nice welcome of the exhibitors and the friendly atmosphere that reigns on this market!

The market of Lafrançaise is held every week on Wednesday morning. It welcomes an average of 25 exhibitors on this occasion. When the good weather arrives, from spring to autumn, a second market is held on Sunday mornings. Also note, throughout the year, a night market is held in the village hall of Piquecos, on the second Friday of each month from 7pm, with the sale of local products and the possibility of eating on site. You will find your happiness within these local markets.

Established since 1969 on the Ile de Nantes, the M.I.N. (the second largest food wholesaler market in France after Rungis) moved to Rezé at the end of February 2019. With 100 companies and more than 2,000 jobs on the new 65-hectare site, this wholesale shopping centre is part of the history of Nantes.Only market traders, grocers, restaurateurs... have access to this marketreserved for professionals. The Pont-Saint-Esprit market is one of the most popular in the region. First and foremost for the location, and above all for the freshness and quality of the products on offer. Lovers of good fish come here to stock up from all over the region. And you'll find a bit of everything, from clothes to vegetables, cheeses and meat. Not to be missed if you're in the area on a Saturday morning. This is the Gard, but it's also Provence in all its flavors.

Open-air markets take place all year round in the communes of the Hérault, notably in Mireval. Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, local producers and merchants from all walks of life come to present their goods. Food, flowers, textiles: the stalls are varied. It is a pleasure to browse among these passionate people, to learn about the typical varieties of the region, to ask for advice for a recipe or a seasoning. On the beautiful Campinchi square with its new market halls, the market is held every morning except Monday. They are the commercial lung of the city center, the den of the producers, craftsmen and professionals of the food trades. This mythical place has been entirely rehabilitated. The stallholders are spread over 2 levels, and collective tasting areas have also been set up. A 250 m² brewery has opened its doors. The producers' floor has been recreated on 1 811 m². Light, lightness and transparency are the main themes of these new Halles, which offer: market gardeners, fishmongers, delicatessens, caterers, butchers, rotisseries, bakeries, pastry shops, wine shops and stands dedicated to coffee and olives... A showcase of gastronomy in the heart of Pau!

One of the most beautiful markets in Ariège takes place in Mirepoix. In winter, Mazamet hosts a marché au gras in its covered market hall. Here you'll find products from your favorite palmipeds (ducks and geese): foie gras, magret, confit... The local farmers' market takes place in July and August. You'll find local producers, gourmet plates of farm produce, demonstrations by craftspeople and great tastings, all set to music and with games for children!

Figeac also organizes its night market of local producers. On the Place Vidal, this festive, family and musical event is a must in summer. With more than 20 craftsmen and women, come and taste regional products in a friendly atmosphere, with a choice of products directly from the producers' stands: foie gras, duck breast, truffle, confits, aligot, sausage, Rocamadour AOC cheeses, fouaces... not forgetting the Cahors wine!

The Eauze fat market is held every Sunday morning in the Belle-Marie market hall, right next to the Nimeño II bullring. Don't miss out on the best products, which sell out in the blink of an eye: the market starts with the bell at 10 a.m. sharp! As well as a meat poultry market, it's a great opportunity to discover local produce, in the extraordinary atmosphere typical of the halles au gras du Gers. You can also enjoy a hearty Gascony breakfast. There's also a large Christmas market on the Sunday before the Nativity.

This market is first and foremost a place of life: go there to soak up its cheerful atmosphere. You'll find a wide range of foodstuffs and clothing if you want to do some shopping. Built in the 60s, first to house workers from the Lacq site, then to accommodate people from the various migrations that France has experienced, the Hameau district has seen its image evolve over time. The market of Brive-la-Gaillarde has its roots in the Middle Ages when the town was already a regional commercial crossroads. The Caussade fat market brings together all lovers of local products. Exposed on large tables, many products are ready to be cooked: ducks and Muscovy ducks, geese, fresh foie gras, whole carcasses or without the liver... We also offer to the buyers a service of cutting during all the duration of the market, and if you want to meet the producers, they welcome you at the farm by appointment. You will also find nearby the open-air market with many fresh, local and quality products.

In Pulnoy, on the outskirts of Nancy, Place de la République. Recently redesigned, the market remains a peaceful place to live.
