Far less famous than the Mirande festival, and also more recent, the Vic-Fezensac Western Country Festival nonetheless attracts enthusiasts of this line dance straight from the United States of America. The dancers don their boots and stetsons, and step to the rhythm of the banjo and fiddle. Far West-inspired entertainment and free concerts are also organized in the town center, which is redecorated in the colors of the American flag for the occasion. The festival will celebrate its ^6th edition in 2024.

Every year the International Psytrance Festival takes us into the world of science fiction. There are 100 artists on three stages to which are added scenographies, decorators, painters, video artists... who come to perform at the Vieure lake. Throughout the festival, food stands are available in the festival village. A choice of world cuisine, french fries, smoothies, varied dishes, organic and regional. With the idea of representing the arts related to psytrance culture, a space is dedicated to artisans and creators to allow them to exhibit and offer for sale art objects, paintings, clothing, jewelry, accessories...

Every two years since 2013, La Biennale de la Danse offers two months of shows and performances around contemporary dance. At the origin of the event, there is the André Malraux cultural centre in Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy, and the national stages in Bar-le-Duc and Forbach, with the obvious support of the Ballet de Lorraine. Subsequently, the event grew in size, to about thirty venues in the Grand-Est. A veritable laboratory for contemporary creation, which showcases both regional companies and troupes from all over the world.

3 days of traditional Catalan dance in Céret! This dance holds a special place in the hearts of all Roussillon residents. During the festival, you'll be able to meet "colles" (groups of dancers) from the 4 corners of the department and Spanish Catalonia. To the sound of coblas (sardana orchestras), try your hand at this dance or enjoy the music in the streets and squares of the village! The event closes with the "Germanor", a sardana fraternity gathering up to 500 dancers.

Organized by Le Fil Production, the Trad'session is a touring season of traditional music in music venues across the Occitanie region. Each session is a new call to share and celebrate for fans of traditional music and dance. The events not only showcase traditional music, but also introduce a new audience to a musical aesthetic that is rarely represented in contemporary music venues. The dance association Traces Contemporaines celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2023. For the occasion, its annual festival will celebrate the joy transmitted by the energy of dance and the entire event will be turned towards the enchantment and the thirst to vibrate high and strong. For four days, dance will resonate in the heart of Cahors with the presence of the Humanhood Dance Company. First week of August. On the National Square, this project initiated by Alain Martyn de l'Opéra de Paris, and artistic director of the Théâtre Olympe de Cutters opens to the great national dancers.

This festival, which has animated Guingamp since the 19th century during the second half of August, has been devoted to Breton dances since 1957. For four days, the emblematic places of the city of Uzès will dance; at the Ombrière, the Duchy park, the Temple garden, the courtyard of the Town Hall, the old wash house, the Eure valley or the Marronniers promenade. The Uzès Danse festival is a highlight of the season and allows us to put forward choreographers who are little known in France. You will be able to discover new forms and experimental approaches of dance, but also to take part in workshops of choreographic practice proposed by the artists of the festival.

The Chavannée awaits you with a dance group, a choir, two orchestras and a ménétrière band, then the festival goes on next to the town of Du with the meeting of musicians on the café terrace. It is also an opportunity to make a small visit to the house of Nature and to the house of the Allier Skippers. The Cadences festival is dance in all its forms of expression! Every year in September, five days of festivities take place in the exceptional setting of the Bay of Arcachon. Flamenco, classical, baroque, hip-hop, contemporary, African, jazz? Cadences offers many shows for a week rich in emotion. Companies from all over the world are invited to express dance as a universal language, offering original creations. Performances take place at the Olympia Theatre, the Port Theatre and even on the beach! Around these shows are organized exhibitions and choreographic workshops, as well as free shows on the sand.

An event that has long life since it has existed since 1936. The Festival Folklorique International d 'Amélie-les-Bains celebrated its 76 th edition in 2018. Every year, it offers an exceptional plateau of 600 artists (or more) from all continents to present folk dance performances on the streets of the 1 st spa resort in the Catalan Country. A show of beauty that ends in apotheosis with a closing gala entitled «The night of continents» in the theater of greenery.

A dive into the dance! That's the promise made every year by the organizers of the Waterproof festival, which has been held throughout the Rennes region since 2020. In 8 towns, from the Breton capital to the surrounding communes, choreographic shows, performances, workshops... await you. To warm up the month of February, a number of events invite you to take a step or two, such as the Marathon de la danse: four hours of dance and uninhibited challenges at l'Ubu.
