Laurent and Jade have teamed up to open this new wine bar, very clean, with a slightly industrial style, with its large exposed pipes, concrete wall and raw wood cuts. The slate wall gives the place a more authentic character, especially since coins are cleverly stuck there (apparently, a tradition on the banks of the Loire: a falling piece is an alert because the ground is too loose). Speaking of floors, take a look in the middle of the room: a transparent slab allows you to see the cellar. Our two bosses are fine connoisseurs, do not hesitate, therefore, to let themselves be advised, they master grape varieties and appellations at their fingertips.

Behind a huge private club-style door, a bric of chairs, tables and armchairs, all right from antique shops, creates an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. On the shelves, classical literature prompts to ask. And to perfect this décor, exhibitions of pictorial artists in the region are organized regularly, with rotation every two to three months. It is only possible to choose among the many wine-growing wines offered by the card, the vintage that will best accompany this moment. Unless you prefer to draw in coffees and tea-making teas.

To accompany the wine (and not the reverse), the establishment uses artisanal products, charcuterie, cheeses, smoked trout from the Jura and other foie gras de duck. Similarly, walnuts, figs and other dry fruits are offered to customers with their order.

On the first floor of the restaurant Les Caudalies, we discover this pretty place: Le Décalé. Both a tapas bar and a wine bar, this place, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, is dedicated to beautiful bottles and beautiful boards to share with friends or colleagues,... You come here for afterwork evenings, cocktail dinners, wine tasting. This wine bar offers an à la carte menu of about forty wines by the glass and by the bottle from different regions of France and foreign countries. But also boards of cold meats and cheese, sandwiches, salads of the moment ... Seasonal nibbles are made from products selected by the chef. In Breton bara means "bread" and gwin means "wine". You can't go wrong! This friendly, unpretentious bistro is just a stone's throw from the Saint-Louis district. The owner offers wines from all regions of France, purchased directly from producers. We like his selection of natural wines with mineral notes. You can also drink local beers. As for the restaurant, everything is homemade, practically made in front of you. The menu is full of surprises: simple dishes with tasty, well-balanced flavors, carefully presented, and a wine and food pairing to match! All with excellent value for money: an address to follow!

This hypercentre wine bar boasts a cosy-chic ambience and, in addition to a menu of refined dishes and cheese and charcuterie platters to share, also offers made-to-measure wine and food pairings. Installed in the Voltaire street, the Gersois Yann and Romain propose a beautiful French cooking. They bring the Bistrot Voltaire to life with fresh and local products and the menu evolves according to the arrival of fish and meat from Marassé (tournedos Rossini, veal sweetbreads...). The slate offers tempting suggestions and the desserts and sorbets are homemade (humm! the delight of pear shooter of vintage). On the wine side, nice signatures like Mouthes Le Bihan in Côtes de Duras. The restaurant has a summer terrace open from spring to fall.
