THÉÂTRE COMEDIA

Theater
4/5
1 review

For a long time, the Parisians had this theatre of nine hundred and ninety places under the name of Eldorado. It is also known as a first room built here in 1858. It is a luxury coffee shop where you can sing, dance and drink, as well as just, but where you can also watch small pieces and pantomime or dance numbers. This was created in 1868 a poem by Jean-Baptiste Clément entitled Le Temps des Des. After being put in music by Antoine Renard, we know what fate he will know. Many artists go to Eldorado as a beginner before they go back to their features: Paulus, Yvette Guilbert, Mistinguett, Mayol, Polar, Dranem, Maurice Chevalier. In 1918, establishments of the Maori'conc'type went out of fashion, so Eldorado went to Music Hall. There are magazines, as well as vaudevilles and operettas. A Yiddish theatre will then implement it before the room is demolished, then rebuilt in 1933 to become a cinema of two thousand places. The room will keep its aesthetics 1930. In 1971, Eldorado returned to the Live Show. In 1994, Maurice Molina, the new boss of the sites, began a renovation of the site. It was the Rebaptisera theatre in 2000. The program is eclectic from Goldoni to Knight and Laspales. Note: Classic mornings are offered in this room by L'Ecla Theatre.

This historic café-théâtre nestles behind a porte cochère in the courtyard of a former coaching inn. In the early days, a band of young acrobats created an artistically ambitious company. From the late 1970s onwards, the four-hundred-and-fifty-seat venue hosted an increasing number of shows by comedians and singers from other parts of the world, revealing a host of talents, including CharlElie Couture, Richard Gotainer, Smaïn, Marc Jolivet, Marianne Sergent, Chevallier et Laspalès and Benoît Poelvoorde...

The history of the Théâtre des Blancs-Manteaux began in 1972. A mecca for café-théâtre humor and non-conformist chanson, it has welcomed Renaud, Jacques Higelin, Alex Métayer, Michèle Laroque, Virginie Lemoine, Marianne James, Anne Roumanoff... Today, humor is still the strong point of this small theater, which comprises two rooms, each with around one hundred seats. The first is housed in a vaulted cellar, while the second is fully tiered.

THÉÂTRE DE DIX HEURES

Theater

1 review

A long-standing address for artists'magazines, the Ten Hour Theatre today presents some man shows and loud comedies. At the location of this 1890 th place hall, there was first a cabaret of arts inaugurated in. He took his current name in 1925 under the direction of Roger Ferréol. He borrowed him from a Tirade tirade - in Les Linottes - referring to the fortune enjoyed by a theatre if he presented gay shows at 10 a. m. With artists such as Martini, Noël-Noël, Dalio, Saint-Granier, Jean Rigaux, Marguerite Moreno, Jeanne Fusier-Irm, he succeeded in creating a loyal audience. From the 1950 s, new talents are emerging: Oleo, Jean Breton, Jean Poiret, Michel Serrault, Anne-Marie Carrière, Thierry Le Luron… In the early 1980 s, the Ten Hour Theatre was directed towards theatre, notably under the direction of Michel Galabru and his son. You can see it by Mom or give me your linen, I make a machine, Didier Bénureau and Muriel Robin. He was the sponsor of the place when Michel Joyeau and Michel Miletti took their head in 1990 - in partnership with Just for Laughs since 2007. Laughter and song are in the spotlight. In the first category come to work Elie and Dieudonné, Franck Dubosc, Patrick Bosso, Stéphane Guillon, the Jamel Comedy Club… And in the second: Juliette, Marie-Paule Belle, Guy Montagné, Hervé Vilard, Nicole Croisille…

Located next door to the Folies Bergère, the Théâtre Trévise is one of Paris's top addresses for laughter. And it's the freedom of tone that characterizes this theater. The stage is open to young talent, as well as world music and dance. Some are nervous, others promising, and even some future greats perform here. Jamel Debbouze, Eric et Ramzy and many others have performed at Le Trévise. The stage is open to artists who want to join the Festival international d'expression artistique libre et désordonnée.

THÉÂTRE LE BOUT

1 review

The Bout was created by the company Les Cousins d'Arnolphe, which had the project to give the café-theatre the letters of nobility it deserves, to prove that it is a full theatrical discipline, a formidable way to address the essential issues of life. Their performances have travelled through the halls of Paris and elsewhere, with the support of Sylvie Joly, Yves Lecoq, Philippe Bouvard or Catherine Lachens, patron of the Café-Theatre school who sits at the End. The site opened in 1999. With 50 seats, the Bout Square room features mainly one man shows and the creations of the house troupe. In addition, there are open scene evenings and children's shows. In 2007, a second room was opened. Named The Round Round, it is specialised in the stand-up. Here is a little Bout with great ambitions!

The theater's name refers to a former venue located nearby, at 50 rue de Malte. Opened in 1866, it disappeared in 1967 after having been one of Paris's leading music-hall venues. It hosts concerts of chanson, rock, world music and jazz, as well as musicals, magic shows and comedy. It can accommodate 500 to 800 people and is housed in a building dating from 1911. At the time of writing, several shows are on offer, including the musical "Holidays", a tribute to Madonna.

Located in an old small factory, this location in Ménilmontant can contain three hundred and fifty people. The room has a mezzanine. The musical program is eclectic and quality. The following went: Magic Malik, Cheikh Tidiane Seck, Katerine, Louis Bertignac, Omar Sosa, Gabriel Yaqoop… Film projections are also organized. It is one of the most atypical halls in the capital, a place where listening music to the mezzanine bar becomes an electrifying experience.

More than ten years after its opening, the challenge has largely been met. Indeed, the Centquatre brings together in a single, very large space, various sites of artistic creation and production open to all disciplines, and which offer various shows, screenings, readings, performances, exhibitions, workshops for young people or adults... What a lively place, on the very spot where the municipal undertaker's service - a building dating back to 1873 - was in operation until 1997. The Centquatre, or 104, which is a place of art, you have understood, is also a place of life. Restaurants, brasseries and shops are spread out in the immensity of the place.

HOUSE OF RADIO AND MUSIC

Concert hall for classical music opera and dance
4/5
1 review

Radio France, which brings together all public radio stations, plays an important role in the world of music. Four groups depend on it: the Orchestre national de France conducted by Daniele Gatti, the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France conducted by the Finnish Mikko Franck, and the Maîtrise de Radio France, conducted by Sofi Jeannin. The Radio France choir is the partner of the other three groups. The latter perform in several halls in the capital and elsewhere, but also in the walls of the "round house". This amazing building has just been completely renovated. The new auditorium is a concert hall with 1,461 seats, installed in balconies and distributed around the stage and musicians. The spectator is never more than 17 m from the stage. The acoustics are fabulous. Another room: Studio 104, with its 856 seats, welcomes all musical genres and major programmes from Radio France channels. Finally, studios 105 (237 seats) and 106 (137 seats) are dedicated to public broadcasts and more intimate concerts. Every Saturday, guided tours allow you to discover the history of the round house.

There are two auditoriums, one seating 102, the other 64. The program is varied: theater, musicals and many shows for young audiences. We're located in the cellars of a former coaching inn. The venue was originally opened to contemporary theater by a troupe of five actors led by Régis Santon in the 1970s. José Valverde succeeded him until 1987, then Alida Latessa in 1995. It was she who created the second venue, dedicated to song. The ensemble offers a rich program.

This cinema is one of the places that the people of La Rochelle particularly appreciate and it owes it as much to its atmosphere as to its location in the heart of the Old Port. Ideal for an afternoon in town. The cinema is also known for the warm welcome of its staff. Recently renovated, it is as pleasant as clean. Forgotten the gigantism of the mega CGR located in Minimes, this cocoon offers comfortable seats. A neighborhood cinema par excellence, the place is praised for its warm atmosphere and its simply unique location.

LA CAVE DE LA MAIRIE

Village halls and multipurpose halls
4/5
1 review

The city of Navarra makes every effort to develop tourism in the beaujolaise region and its many actions and animations are to be stressed. The City Hall is the best example of this. This prestigious 400 m ² hall, with easy access, with all its facilities (heating, ventilation, automated smoking) offers an ideal setting for successful receptions, weddings, lounges, seminars and group meals in the heart of the great Beaujolais crus. The kitchen, connected directly to the cellar and on the ground floor with a large sized lift, is equipped with all stainless steel and electric equipment for optimal use. On the same level, 10 m ² of cold rooms complete the facilities offered to cooks or caterers. Acoustics, adjustable lighting, everything was designed and specially cared for your approval. Private evenings at trade fairs, installation and layout are very easy. Round tables and seating comfort promote usability. A ceramic mural according to an original work of an artist fleuriatonne, Yvonne Couibes, orne the bottom of the cellar, giving the whole a unique and very festive stamp. To finish or to begin, to choose, the flowery shadow of the magnificent park is a superb introduction or conclusion before starting or ending the feast under the vaults of the Hall of the Mairie.

The Sirius, already classified as Art and Trial, will soon become the centre of Art and Test du Havre, since the closure of the room L'Eden (the volcano cinema). Proximity to the university prevailed over the other places (Clubs and Studio) that could claim to this appellation, which seems to be very envied. It would be tempting to write that this is the last quarter of the neighbourhood in Le Havre, and this gives this place all the nobility that is worth passionate.

With three halls, the largest of which has 240 seats, film classified Art and Trial, the Sirius would be as a necessary small star in the local film panorama. Good programming in children's movies, preferential rates for students - cinema is next to the university - work with and around schools.

1 review

The Eurorégional Centre for Urban Cultures, now renamed FLOW, is a unique place whose missions revolve around five strengths. First, support and accompaniment to artists through workshops, personalized advice and residences. In FLOW, artists are given the keys to progress and enrich their practices. But FLOW is not just about professionals. It offers amateurs and semi-professionals a wide range of awareness, initiation and training projects. Yes, here being amateur does not mean being dilettante! Finally, the Centre is at the heart of a network of several structures, all of which are committed to putting urban cultures, mainly hip hop, on the front of the stage. Through strong times throughout the year, FLOW gives the public the best of contemporary creation. The scenic feats of hip-hop dancers and dance break are breathtaking and restore this culture of nobility. This is also what the current Resource Centre also works for. History, sociological studies, archives… urban cultures are studied and analyzed in the same way as all other forms of art. Proof, if one was needed, that urban cultures deserve public attention!

Their music and lyrics bounce like light and acidic bubbles of life that we cross with joy, while leaving a small place for a sweet melancholy. LE CINÉMA DES CINÉASTES

Cinema
3.7/5
3 reviews

If you love movies and particularly personnal movie, rendez-vous at the famous Cinéma des Cinéastes that shines with a thousand light opposite Pathé Wepler of place Clichy. We find abundant offers of great cinema classics as well as the latest news, previews and programmes for young children. It is not for nothing that some first year classes of kindergarten travel through Paris just to come and watch some classics and new movies. On the floor of the theatre, there is a very pleasant restaurant and bar which offers a selection of very good wines. The History of Cinéma des Cinéastes is huge. In the 19th century, the establishment was the cabaret of Père Lathuille before becoming Le Kursaal visited by Maurice Chevalier. Abandoned after 1945, the cinema was updated with new colours during the prosperous period of the Nouvelle Vague. But it was in 1987, thanks to Claude Berri in the Civil Society of Auteurs, Réalisateurs et Producteurs (L'ARP), that the establishment became an unavoidable place for movie lovers. Three rooms make up this theatre including the great, absolutely beautiful one, referring to the heyday of the Seventh Art.

THÉÂTRE SÉBASTOPOL

Theater
3.7/5
3 reviews

Built after the Lille opera house burned down in 1903, this theater boasts a large, handsome auditorium with typical 19th-century architecture and striking gilding. The recently renovated facade is splendid! What we love about the Théâtre Sébastopol is that you really feel you're in a place apart, with an eclectic program that includes many popular national artists, as well as international dancers and performers. A program of operettas at very attractive prices completes the line-up.

CINÉMA GAUMONT PATHÉ

Cinma multiplex
3.3/5
7 reviews

The two Pathé of Orléans and Saran cinemas welcome you every day and offer some movies in V.O and in 3 D. You will still have to pay € 2 for the 3 D meetings and € 1 for the pair of reusable glasses. Côté equipment, the Saran de Saran is designed on the same par as its two congeners in Orléans: giant screens, digital Dolby, large armchairs with cup door, what to eat on site… with a nice summer terrace and a Häagen-Dazs counter for the Halles, in continuous service from until. Now have 12 rooms for the Pathé des Halles, 9 for that of Saran and 6 for that of Arc Square, the last born of the siblings since 2013, UGC UGC completely renovated. The price side is always more expensive: 11,40 € at full rate. We advise you to subscribe to the loyalty card. It is completely free and allows, among other small advantages, to earn, by accumulation of points, free spaces. Other good plan, Pathé des Halles sells tickets for the Carpentry car park just next to 2 € for 3 hours of parking. The parking of Saran is entirely free. In these temples, a little more user friendliness would not harm, but in obscure rooms the magic of the seventh art works here as elsewhere!
