LE DAMAS
Read moreThanks to Sam and Maya, right next to the cinema, this small street is enriched with a new restaurant since then: Le Damas ! It's easy to guess what you will taste there. On the menu, as a starter: tabouleh, homos (chickpea puree with sesame cream), moutabal (eggplant caviar with sesame cream), vine leaves. Foul Medammas: beans salad, parsley, tomatoes, onions. Accompanied by fried Syrian bread, or Falafels (chickpea doughnuts). Kebbehs: Stuffed wheat balls with meat. We'll have chosen the Syrian dish or the tabouleh, samoussa with cheese, vine leaf, homos, moutabal, which are a very good way to discover the gourmet Syria. It's fresh, spicy, fine and just the right amount of coriander, parsley, fruits and dried vegetables. We continue with a Syrian-style melting lamb shank that we strongly advise you! To test also: tajines and moult skewers, accompanied by Lebanese wines, local or a cool Arak. This address is very charming. Note that there are also some shellfish and crustaceans from the Thau basin, and oriental baklavas and pastries to round off the meal. Everything is there! Shaded terrace and possible group meals and a very nice welcome of this young couple! Maya in the kitchen and Sam in the room. Note, excellent jasmine tea to finish.

CHEM'S 2
Read moreAnd what if A89, free to L'Arbresle, brought us closer to Morocco more than Auvergne? ! Down this large city street heading for Clermont-Ferrand, you must let yourself be enchanted by this address run for many years by an outstanding Moroccan cook, the delicious and wonderful Aïcha. At Chem's 2, where it's easy to park your car, the many regulars join the visiting newcomers to share the same happiness. The summer terrace is among the most different - with a small lounge terrace with palm tree in front of Chem's 2, perfect for taking aperitif - a true invitation to take a well-deserved nap on the swinging chair after a meal of incredible generosity. Generosity, a character trait that applies to people - Aïcha in the kitchen, assisted by Valérie at the pizzas and the service - and dishes satisfying all appetites. Of course, the stars are called tagines, including an excellent lamb with prunes, toasted almonds and sweet semolina with cinnamon, and couscous. You should not fail to taste the various homemade pizzas, traditional or more personal compositions with an Orientale: mozzarella, merguez, peppers and onions, or seasonal dishes. In one of the perfectly-equipped rooms, on the terrace or at home (takeouts), Chem's 2 always offers a bunch of delicacies to treat the whole family. A particularly smart address.

ONCLE DIK
Read moreA bridge between the Armenian and Mediterranean cuisines in a New York decor, original not? Pleasant terrace, stones apparent to the lights "color keys", from the mezzanine to the superb toilets, no taste of taste at this Uncle Dik. Then there is the homage of an Armenian to his grandfather, Dikran, that one can see a cart on a moving black and white photo. Welcome is adorable and efficient service. But this beauty does not mask the quality of the kitchen. On the contrary, it emphasizes it! The wood oven pizza that can be taken to the avalanche avalanche is eaten. Coeur with couteau, dont mullet fillets on a crispy pancake and roasted chops parfaitement. The desserts are remarkable and the chocolate quenelles of good taste. Beautiful homage to the roots.
ALEP
Read moreWhen the Middle East cooks its range of flavors, it offers us warm and cold hors d 'oeuvre, of Syrian and Lebanese origin for most of them. Ask for an assortment whose generous variety will allow us to savor eggplants with nuts, garlic yogurt, spicy sausages, spicy spruce, cheese or spinach. The main dish reveals minced meat on the onion, marinated chicken white, citrated lamb liver. The dessert, at the very many oriental pastries, is gourmand by nature. Here's the maamil, delicate sandwiched with dates and here's the osuntied, little millew with angel hair. We'll take it twice.
