Day 1: Heading for paradise

Steps: Managua, San Juan Del Sur, Playa Popoyo

As soon as you arrive in Managua, there is no time out, drive to San Juan del Sur or Popoyo to enjoy the beach.

Day 2: A colourful start

On the program of this second day: surf, sun and parties await you. A great introduction to start your holiday!

Day 3: Island of Ometepe

Leave the ocean to reach Lake Nicaragua by visiting the island of Ometepe. It is one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

Day 4: Fine sandy beaches and green landscapes

Steps: Moyogalpa, Charco Verde, Santo Domingo

Many discoveries await you such as Santo Domingo (the most beautiful beach on the island), the magnificent sunset from Punta Jesús María, the legends of the Charco Verde lagoon, and the many scenes of rural life.

Day 5: Excursion and various activities

Steps: Playa Santo Domingo, Balgüe

Relax by the lake or basin of the Ojo de Agua, climb the Maderas volcano. Other fantastic sites are there: archaeology, natural swimming pools, kayaking, community tourism...

Day 6: Visit of Granada

Steps: Granada

Take the road to Granada, one of the two main colonial cities in the country. From here you can take a boat tour in the midst of the famous isletas. The city also has an active nightlife.

Day 7: Around Granada

Steps: Laguna De Apoyo, Granada, Reserva Nacional Volcán Mombacho

The Mombacho volcano nature reserve (still active, you can admire the flaming lava), the Apoyo lagoon and the white pueblos craft villages are located near Granada: ideal for day trips.

Day 8: Heading northwest

Steps: Managua, Granada, León

By way of Managua, reach León. It is the second largest colonial city in Nicaragua. The architecture is a little less well maintained than in Granada, but the atmosphere is more student, more festive (certainly also a little less touristic)

Day 9: Discovery of the surroundings of León

Steps: Volcán Cerro Negro

For the more adventurous, it is possible to go down the sandy slopes of Cerro Negro by sled! Beautiful hikes are also possible on the many other surrounding volcanoes

Day 10: Relaxation and surfing

Steps: Las Peñitas

Surfers and idlers can go to Las Penitas to enjoy the gentle sound of the waves.

Day 11: Direction Estelí

Steps: Estelí

Small colonial town where you can visit a cigar factory (to choose from among 70 factories!), dive into the memories of the Revolution, and admire the wall frescoes

Day 12: A walk in the nature

Steps: Estelí, Reserva Natural Miraflor

A few excursions are available in the surrounding area, including those to the magical Miraflor or Tisey nature reserve.

Day 13: High cliffs and deep gorges

Steps: Somoto

One hour north, we can go to Somoto Canyon for a water hike.

Day 14: Directorate Big Corn Island

Steps: Managua, Big Corn Island

Return to Managua to fly to Big Corn Island, paradise island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea.

Day 15: Transparent waters and endless beaches

Possibility of taking beautiful walks along the coast, and spending very festive evenings on weekends.

Day 16: Discovery of the seabed

Take a day to do some wonderful dives.

Day 17: Wild nature

Steps: Little Corn Island

Take the boat to Little Corn Island, one of the most peaceful places in the country (if not the most peaceful). No cars, no roads, no shoes, no stress. Perfect for relaxing! Be careful with the days that pass by...

Day 18: Day of idleness

Relaxation on the beaches and a walk on the island.

Day 19: Last day of vacation

Steps: Managua, Big Corn Island

Reach Big Corn Island again to return to Managua, the final destination of the trip.
