Day 1: Arrival in Martinique

Steps: Le Lamentin

You'll arrive at the airport of Lamentin. You are perhaps exhausted by the journey, and you'll have only one idea in mind: to run to your holiday resort. A good shower, a welcome ti-punch and off to bed!

Day 2: Relaxation and preparation

Wake up at sunrise around 6am. After a night's sleep, you'll be in great shape: you can already taste the pleasure of tropical well-being. The sky is blue with strong luminosity. We suggest you take advantage of the hotel (lazing around, swimming pool, beach) and take your bearings in order to organize your week.

Day 3: Leeward coast

Steps: Fort-De-France, Le Prêcheur, Saint-Pierre, Les Anses D'Arlet, Morne-Rouge

You're getting used to the time difference. Take the opportunity to set off early in the morning to discover the "leeward" west coast. Head up the south Caribbean coast, stopping for breakfast at Anses d'Arlet. Then head for Fort-de-France for shopping and the market. Then head north to Le Prêcheur. Visit the Balata botanical garden and have lunch on Le Carbet beach. In the afternoon, stop off at Saint-Pierre, then take the Morne-Rouge road via the Trace rainforest, which leads down to Fort-de-France. Simply breathtaking.

JARDIN DE BALATA

Day 4: Day at sea

Steps: Sainte-Marie, Le Marin, Sainte-Anne, Les Trois-Îlets

Day charter, which means a trip at sea aboard a boat, often a "maxi-catamaran". Departures from Les Trois-Îlets, Le Marin or Sainte-Anne. The most classic circuit is the South Caribbean coast and, for sea lovers, a day trip to Sainte-Lucie (English-speaking island to the south). Departure around 9 a.m. and return at sunset. Lunch on board, swimming and snorkeling stops.

Places of interest :
BALADES

Day 5: Field day

Steps: Les Trois-Îlets, Le François, Le Robert

If you're not too exhausted, you can devote the day to sporting activities such as scuba diving (1/2 day), water scootering (1/2 day) or canoeing around Le Robert, Le François, Les Trois-Îlets or Cap-Chevalier, as well as windsurfing at Cap-Chevalier, sightseeing flights by plane or from the islets, canyoning... The possibilities are endless.

Day 6: Cultural day

Steps: Les Trois-Îlets, Rivière-Pilote

Visit one of the famous Martinican distilleries in the morning and visit the Maison de la Canne museum in the afternoon, before attending a cockfight in a pitt, near Rivière-Pilote.

Places of interest :
MAISON DE LA CANNE

Day 7: Departure

It's already departure time. Most flights depart in the late afternoon. Some accommodations allow you to change at the airport before departure, with luggage storage and showers at your disposal. This is a great advantage, as it means you can make the most of your last moments on the island, and plan a little swim, for example.
