Day 1: First steps in Hanoi

Steps: Hanoi

Discovery of the History Museum, stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and visit of Ngoc Son Temple (Temple of the Jade Mountain) on the islet north of the lake. The stroll continues with the exploration of the old quarter and its maze of 36 streets leading to the venerable Long Bien Bridge (ex-Paul Doumer) which spans the Red River. In the evening, stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 2: In the imperial city

Steps: Hue

Morning flight to Hué. Visit to the citadel and tour of the ramparts, followed by an excursion to some of the royal tombs in the vicinity of the ancient imperial city. In the evening, stroll along the west bank, home to Hué's liveliest cafés.

Day 3: The road to Hoi An

Steps: Da Nang, Hoi An

Don't miss the splendid road from Hué to Da Nang. It's one of the most beautiful in the country. The city itself is not very interesting, but it would be a shame to miss the Cham Art Museum . Continue on to Hoi An, where you'll arrive in the evening.

Places of interest :
MUSÉE CHAM

Day 4: The favorite of the trip

It's impossible to resist the charm of this small town, with its French quarter, Chinese houses, market, pagoda bridge... If you need to extend your tour by a day, it will be well spent wandering around Vietnam's most beautiful city! Renting a bike will enable you to explore the city's surroundings, where vast expanses of rice paddies stretch out, particularly to the north.

Day 5: The beaches of Nha Trang

Steps: Nha Trang

Back to mass tourism, but how can you resist the lure of Nha Trang's superb beaches, nestled at the foot of the mountains that encircle the city? A boat trip or a dive in the bay's turquoise waters will allow you to escape the overly touristy atmosphere. Otherwise, do as everyone else does and sip cocktails in the straw huts, watching the waves roll in and out: it's the main occupation in Nha Trang.

Day 6: Charming stopover in Mui Ne

This small fishing village, where you can easily find accommodation if you wish to extend your stay, is renowned for the beauty of its dunes and the color of its orange sand. Here, you can enjoy some beautiful sunset walks, or simply take a short bike ride along the sea.

Day 7: End of course

Steps: Hô Chi Minh-Ville

Morning arrival in Hô Chi Minh City. Visit the bustling city, with its old colonial center, Notre-Dame Cathedral and stroll along Rue Dông Khoi (formerly Rue Catinat), the city's main thoroughfare, and around the Municipal Theater. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the bustling and mysterious atmosphere of Cholon (the big market). Take-off and return flight in the evening.
