Day 1: Arrival in Amman

Steps: Amman

Visit of the CitadelleRoman theatre and museums of the capital, for a first approach. Night in Amman.

Day 2: The ruins of Four

Steps: Jérash

Early departure to visit the remains of the Greco-Roman city of La in Four and then the medieval castle of Ajloun. Return and night in Amman.

Day 3: The Jordan Valley

Steps: Irbid, Pella

Excursion to the Jordan Valley with visit of the ancient cities of Gadara (Umm Qais), Pella and Abila. Night in Amman or Irbid in the north of the country.

Day 4: The Umayyad castles

Steps: Azraq, Madaba

Excursion east of Amman to discover the Arab castles of the desert, built by the Umayyads, and the Azraq oasis. Night in Amman or Madaba.

Day 5: The Thousand and One Nights

Steps: Madaba, Kérak

Visit Madaba, the city of mosaics, then direction Kerak and its medieval citadel. Night in Madaba or Kerak.

Day 6: Towards Petra

Steps: Wadi Musa, Shobak

Visit of the castle of Shobak, from the ancient village of Qubba and its prehistoric remains, then direction Petra for a first discovery of the ancient Nabataean capital. Night in Wadi Musa, the city adjacent to the site of Petra.

Day 7: Visit of Petra

Steps: Wadi Musa

In-depth visit of the Petra site, excursion on heights and Little Petra. Night in Wadi Musa.

Day 8: Hiking around Petra

Steps: At-Taybeh

Spend a second day at this splendid site to discover the surroundings through one of the many hiking walks to Qubba, Taybet Zaman (excursions also proposed by horse or camel).

Day 9: The remains of Aqaba

Steps: Aqaba

Visit of the old town centre of Aqaba and its archaeological remains. Night in Aqaba.

Day 10: A day of idleness

Steps: Aqaba

The beaches of the Gulf of Aqaba will delight lovers of relax but also water sports. The Red Sea coral reefs, for their part, will offer full satisfaction to the divers.

 

Day 11: Excursion to the West Bank

Return north via the route from Wadi Araba to the Allenby Bridge (Jordan/Palestine border) to reach Jericho by minibus. Night in Jericho.

Day 12: Visit to Jericho

Hisham Palace, Temptation Monastery and Tell Jericho will introduce you to Biblical Jordan. Return to the border and then to Amman.

Day 13: A day nature

From Amman, join the oasis of Azraq by car, which will offer you a beautiful Traversée desert crossing for an overview of the country's natural treasures after a very cultural circuit. Night to oasis.

Day 14: Return to Amman

Last visits and shopping then take off late in the day.
