Day 1: Departure for Samaipata

Steps: Santa Cruz, Samaipata, Fuerte De Samaipata

Arrival in Santa Cruz. Departure to Samaipata, peaceful village located at 1,650 m altitude. Visit of the ruins of El Fuerte, the fortress originally unknown. Superb location in a buffer region between the Amazon and the Andes.

Day 2: Amboró Park Forest

Steps: Samaipata, Parque Nacional Amboro, Bermejo, Cuevas

Take a taxi and a guide for an excursion in the Amboró Park, half an hour from the village. From El Sillar, panoramic view of Amboró Park. Walking trip to the volcano refuge, then transfer to Bermejo and the volcano lagoon. Short walk before joining the Cuevas waterfalls. Swimming possible in a dream setting. Return to Samaipata at the end of the day.

Day 3: Wilderness Nature

Steps: Santa Cruz, Parque Nacional Amboro

Departure in the morning around 8:30 a. m. for the forest of Amboró Park where you will discover some species of unique giant trees in the world and several varieties of wild orchid. Walking on foot, surrounded by giant ferns reaching up to 13 m high. Return to Santa Cruz in the evening.

Day 4: Colonial town of Sucre

Steps: Santa Cruz

Flight from Santa Cruz to the historical capital of Bolivia (2 780 m). Visit the colonial city inscribed on the heritage of humanity and let yourself be enchanted by one of Latin America's most beautiful cities. Dinner in one of the excellent restaurants in the white city.

Day 5: Maragua Crater or Marché market

Steps: Sucre, Tarabuco, Maragua

Two possibilities: one day trek to the Maragua crater along a former Inca road and discovering the sumptuous landscapes of the region, or possibility to go to the colourful market of Tarabuco, near Sucre on Sunday. Back to Sucre late in the afternoon.

Day 6: Departure for Potosí

Steps: Potosí

Departure early in the morning for the imperial city of Potosí, also inscribed in World Heritage. Altitude acclimatization (over 4 000 m), visit of the colonial city, San Francisco church and La Casa de la Moneda.

Day 7: From Potosí to Tupiza

Steps: Potosí, Tupiza

Visit of the mines of Cerro Rico in the morning, then direction south and Tupiza (2 850 m).

Day 8: Around Tupiza

Steps: Tupiza, Sud-Lípez

In the morning, horse riding in the Quebrada Palmira, in landscapes worthy of the American Far West. Afternoon relaxation before starting the circuit, strenuous South-Lípez.

Day 9: Cape in the west

Steps: Sud-Lípez

Departure to El Sillar, San Pablo de Lípez and Laguna Morejon. This route provides you with the opportunity to live South-Lípez away from the tourist trails. You pass through traditional villages, pass a high pass (about 5 000 m) on the flanks of the volcano Uturuncu (6 008 m), rich in condors and eagles. Night in Quetena Grande (4 200 m) before joining the classic circuit.

Day 10: Landscape prism

Steps: Parque Nacional Sajama, Sud-Lípez, Laguna Verde

Direction the Dalí desert and then the volcano Licancabur (5 920 m), Laguna Verde, returning to the thermal baths and Geysers Sol. We then joined Laguna Colorada and his flamingos colony. Night and sunset in Huayllas (4 320 m).

Day 11: From Huayllas to Atullcha

Steps: Sud-Lípez

Sunrise on Laguna Colorada, then direction the Désert desert and the stone tree. You will then see 4 magnificent lagoons coiled at the foot of the volcano Ollagüe (5 868 m): the Lagunas Hedionda, Chiarkota, Cañapa and Negra. We take the time to admire the Salar of Chiguana and the ancient railroad connecting Bolivia to Chile, then moving towards the viewpoint of the Ollagüe volcano. Night in Atullcha.

Day 12: Visit of Uyuni

Steps: Salar De Uyuni, Uyuni

The route is completed by a of the Salar d'Uyuni and Isla Incahuasi. Night in Uyuni.

Day 13: Pulacayo and Colchani

Steps: Uyuni, San Vicente, Oruro, Pulacayo, La Paz

In the morning, direction the ghost town of Pulacayo where you can see a locomotive attacked by Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid! The afternoon is devoted to visiting the Colchani train cemetery. Return to Uyuni and night bus for La Paz (or night train to Oruro, then bus to La Paz).

Day 14: Visit of La Paz

Steps: Potosí, La Paz

Discovery of the capital of Bolivia at about 3,700 m high: Casco Viejo, Plaza Murillo and the Calle Jaén museums, San Francisco church and the Illampu street witch market and Sagárnaga. Dinner in a chic Sopocachi restaurant.

Day 15: From the past to Tiwanaku

Steps: Copacabana, Tiwanaku, Lac Titicaca

Departure early in the morning to join the archeological site of Tiwanaku. Visit of the pre-Columbian remains, which are among the largest in the continent. End of day in Copacabana, on Lake Titicaca, and its magnificent basilica of the Virgen de la Candelaria.

Day 16: Cap on the Isla del Sol

Steps: Isla Del Sol, Lac Titicaca

Departure early in the morning for the most important island of Lake Titicaca.

Stroll through Yumani village and enjoy fantastic panoramic views over the lake and the summits of the Andes Cordillera. Night in Yumani.

Day 17: Discovery of the Inca culture in Challapampa

Steps: Isla Del Sol, Copacabana, La Paz

Hiking through this mythical island to visit the village of Challapampa and discover the Inca temple of Chinkana. Back to Copacabana, then to La Paz.

Day 18: Mountain Bike Day

Steps: La Paz

Departure early in the morning for La Cumbre (4,670 m), about 45 km above La Paz, to begin the Death Road circuit by mountain bike. Descent to Yolosa, located at 1,300 m above sea level. You go from the Andean peaks to the lush vegetation of the Yungas in a few hours! Lunch in Yolosa and return to La Paz.

Day 19: Around La Paz

Steps: Potosí, La Paz, Valle De La Luna, Muela Del Diablo, Chacaltaya

Several options are possible: the visit of El Valle de la Luna and its surprising geological formations, a hike to the Muela del Diablo to enjoy the most spectacular view on La Paz, or, for the bravest, a trek from Chacaltayo, the former ski resort, leading you to 5,470 m altitude! Lavish views of Huayna Potosí and surrounding area. Dinner show in one of the peñas of the capital.

Day 20: En route to the Amazon

Steps: Rurrenabaque, Parque Nacional Madidi

Morning flight in a small plane for Rurrenabaque, a small Amazon town located on the edge of the Beni River, at the gates of Madidi National park. A day dedicated to discovering the culture and inhabitants of this typical city of the Amazon, unlike the Andean Bolivia.

Day 21: Madidi National Park

Steps: Rurrenabaque

2 days excursion in tropical forest with one of the many agencies in Rurrenabaque. Hiking in tropical forest and night in a community refuge in the heart of the park.

Day 22: At the end of the jungle

Steps: Parque Nacional Madidi

End of excursion in Madidi National Park and return to "Rurre".

Day 23: Yacuma Reserve

Steps: Santa Rosa Del Yacuma

2 day excursion on the Yacuma reserve in Santa Rosa. On the program: straddles to see the many animals present (pink dolphins, caymans, turtles, monkeys, riots, birds of paradise, herons...), leave the anaconda trail in the surrounding swamps, or try fishing for piranha. Night in a shelter.

Day 24: Wilderness

Steps: Rurrenabaque

Last observation of stunning flora and fauna on the reserve of Yacuma before returning to Rurrenabaque the next day.

Day 25: Cap on La Paz

Flight for the highest capital in the world. Day dedicated to exploring the city and its amazing cable car, and shopping.

Day 26: End of stay

Steps: Santa Cruz

Flight to Santa Cruz de la Sierra. If you have some time before your flight, you can relax in the Biocentro Guëmbé complex and its numerous swimming pools.
