CHALLAPAMPA

In the north of the island, the village of Challapampa has kept its authenticity. Small streets and inhabitants, who still live a little isolated from the rest of the country, make this village a real cultural journey. It is far from the splendor of Yumani. We come to the north to admire the wilder side of the island and to take advantage of the few creeks to swim, with a little courage (the water being relatively cold, all year round). Among the attractions of the village, the Museo de Oro which collects mainly pieces and objects having been found under water.
