Day 1: Bucharest
Steps: Bucarest
Take a day to visit Bucharest. Start at Piaţa Unirii which gives you an excellent view of the Parliament Palace, a must see. Continue into the historical center with the Princely Court, the Hanul lui Manuc caravanserai and the Lipscani pedestrian street. Walk along Calea Victoriei to reach the Romanian Athenaeum, one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Finally, stroll through Cişmigiu Park or discover the Romanian Peasant Museum.

Drive towards Sibiu. Take a detour to the magnificent Curtea de Argeş monastery. The legend surrounding it is simply fascinating.

For this day, plunge into the heart of the Sicilian country, bastion of the Hungarian minority. Stop in the many charming villages you will come across. Visit the pretty town of Târgu Mureş.
Day 11: Sighişoara

Head down to the medieval city of Sighişoara. Enjoy this Transylvanian jewel with its special atmosphere. Wander through the maze of winding streets, walk around the citadel from tower to tower and finally admire the splendid view from the top of the hill.
Day 12: Transylvania

In the heart of Transylvania, discover the many fortified Saxon villages. Some of them are treasures of beauty and tranquility. In Şoarş, possibility to stay at the inhabitant's house and enjoy the local hospitality.
Day 13: Carpathians
Excursions to the Carpathian Mountains, through the Făgăraş Mountains, which are among the highest in the country. This region is the starting point for many hikes to high altitude waterfalls and lakes (such as Bâlea). Take advantage of these places to enjoy grilled corn on the side of the roads.
Day 14: Braşov
Steps: Braşov
Return to Braşov and its beautiful colorful main square. Wander through the old streets of the medieval town centre. Visit its churches before taking the cable car to the top of Tâmpa Hill. The panoramic view is breathtaking.
