This Green Lane begins at the Hameau Hameau in Brégnier-Cordon. In 12 kilometres, it will take you to Évieu and then to the port of Groslée. It is, in fact, a segment of the famous Via Rhôna, which, in 450 kilometres, links Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean. The course is peaceful and offers a wide range of activities. It first crosses the river and joins a rural road surrounded by corn fields. That, and there, a few points of view are your itinerary; the opportunity, if you are on the walk, to make a small stop.

Walk on foot? Exit cycling? If you do not manage to fall from agreement on the activity of the day, this loop early Balan could hold business. And for good reason: the path is completely practiced in two-wheeled vehicles. From the town hall square, first take over the management of Niévroz, following Plateron. Then head to the pont de Jons along the lône, and you then engage left via the breach in the fence. You will go along the Rhone on about 2 kilometres, before you follow the direction of the Old Mill and its lake. The loop is veiled soon: to do this, take on the tarmac road until Balan.

Step by step, this circuit leads you to the discovery of the Tour Tower and the ponds of Grand Châtel, Grand Beron, Petit and Grand Chabodière. In the middle of the way, you will also be pénètrerez in the Bois de Charney, which is sharp with the sight-loss fields that have accompanied you so far. For a family walk or an end-of-the-day jogging, this loop without differences of 6 km is ideal for the least trained.

This gentle hike from Drom will take you to the ruins of the old Saint-Julien church only 3 kilometres away. The path is stable, secure, and evolves in pine and box vegetation. Easy to access, it is ideal for families looking for a nice outdoor exit. Starting from the church of the commune, hire on the right and follow the blue and white markup. Your journey also leads you to the church of Notre-Dame-des-Rhone and to the cross of Sainte-Julie, with beautiful views of Bourg-en-Bresse, La and Revermont.

Hiking tours in Ain, this is really not what is missing! Between plateaus and valleys, the department offers opportunities for walks for all, from the most confirmed grass walkers. At the beginning of Treffort-Cuisiat, De or Courmangoux, discover the region at your pace through varied paths, all marked. For two or twenty kilometres, put the shoes and it's gone!

How about a swim in the lake and a sunbath facing the Mont Blanc massif? It's a lovely place, with children's games and a restaurant. The beach is open from late May to mid-September, as are the water activities (kayaking, canoeing, paddling...). The lake is home to numerous birds, including grey herons and kingfishers. Around the lake: Forestland, outdoor laser game, Joy's Club minigolf, sentier des planètes, and the Bidonnes marsh.

Located at an altitude of 900 meters, the Observatoire de la Lèbe is a scientific and exploration space open to all. In addition to its telescope for observing the planets and stars, the site has a planetarium under a dome that offers daily broadcasting of an immersive documentary film followed by the intervention of a scientific mediator (session of 1 hour to 1h30 - different films depending on the day of the week). Night observations with a guide are also offered to learn how to spot the different constellations.

When dynamism and efficiency rhyme with astronomy, the result is the Village des Etoiles, an intelligent fusion of various activities related to astronomy. The activities in question cover a wide range of audiences, schools, companies and individuals through specific animations, organized trips, observation evenings, planetarium sessions, etc. Between the planetarium, the celestial theatre (open-air planetarium), the 600 mm telescope and the solar observatory, you will discover the sky from every angle. Created in Chartreuse by a passionate person, the Trail Stations allow to practice the outdoor activity on marked out courses of various levels. The Haut Bugey offers an ideal setting for trailers. First Nordik Walk resort in the Jura Mountains in 2017, the resort offers 29 trails classified from green to black for difficulty, including Les Balcons du lac de Nantua by Xavier Thevenard, the sponsor of the resort, or the KV des Monts d'Ain, and 11 Nordic walking courses.

For nature-lovers, the Bugey tourist office organizes three-day weekend getaways on the Plateau de Retord every year. Everything is fully organized and included (equipment rental, gîte and catering). Real moments of relaxation await you, with the following program: introduction to biathlon, picnic, Quadrix Access wheelchair activity, electric Swincar activity and an hour's Nordic bath or sauna. Minimum 2 participants. Please book at least 2 weeks in advance.

In the Ain, there is no need to go far to enjoy yourself in any season. The Hauteville plateau, a little above 1,000 m altitude, offers a sporty setting to be enjoyed by the whole family. Terre Ronde is the family resort par excellence with 10 slopes - playground, snowpark - accessible to all levels on the Grand Couloir site. Skiers, snowboarders, snow wire for beginners, sledging area and a snowshoe trail for those who don't want to get on the boards. A multi-activity site for the whole family in summer.

It is also mentioned that the club is usually open at weekends. To get to the aeroclub, from Lyon or Geneva on the A42 freeway, take exit 7, Meximieux, then the first road on the right after crossing a small bridge. If you're coming from Meximieux, follow the signs for the A42 Geneva/Lyon freeway, then take the path on the left just before you reach the freeway traffic circle. Once there, it's easy to spot the aeroclub building, the only one in the middle of the fields.

Less sportive maybe, but more peaceful, with wild landscapes and a rich biodiversity and wild spots to picnic. You can choose between 6 itineraries from 5 to 35 km. Dare the 35 km with bivouac under the stars! You can even practice canoeing outside the summer, l'Esquimaude offers you to rent longjohn, wetsuits that will keep you warm on and sometimes... under water.

Located in the hills above Oyonnax, just 3 km from Lac Genin, the Parc d'Aventures Oyoxygène is a multi-activity leisure park open to all. The Col de la Faucille in Mijoux is home to one of Europe's longest rail toboggan runs. This tourist attraction is a must for thrill-seekers. The track is over a kilometer long, with tight bends and gradients of up to 37%. Speed enthusiasts can enjoy the track in complete safety, while other visitors can have fun at their own pace. Children measuring 1.35 m and over can access the activity on their own, provided they have the permission of their parents or guardians. Children under 1m35 must be accompanied by an authorized adult or teenager. Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to take part in the activity, even if accompanied.
