Welcome to the Bugey Adventure Course. One of the most beautiful and sensational tree adventure courses in the region. Its greatest particularity is that the courses are established around a pond that three zip lines cross. Adults and children have a great time on these courses with difficulties adapted to all publics. Nearly 150 games and activities to do in complete safety in a grandiose environment.

Next to the Loisirs leisure Park, the Golf course in Bourg-en-Bressse offers two courses: a six holes ideal for an initiation or perfect game and a nine progressive hole in the difficulty. School of Golf and Shop completes the offer, while the restaurant offers at all times frozen cooked dishes, frozen desserts and ice cream, in summer, compound salads, fried steaks, etc.

Since 1959, the Seb has been dedicated to making horse riding accessible to all, including through the formation of riders of all ages. Initiation, development, internships, preparation of federal exams… The club has two dozen ponies and so many horses, 4,5 ha to two steps from the Seillon forest, with two quarries, an Olympic armoury, a boardwalk and a cross route.
The Seb is also an owner's team, with pension opportunities for horses and ponies, the preparation of equidae, the development of their sports performances and a competitive framework.

Opened in 1990, the Golf de la Sorelle has been taken over in 2014 by a new team enchanted by the place. And how could you fail to fall for this dreamlike setting in Dombes only 40 minutes away from Lyon town centre: the green course where water (what with Dombes and all) is present; history and heritage which are also present with the 13th Century Chateau de Richemont opposite the first hole and; one of the last poypes (local fortified castle) of Ain at the 12th hole. It is a splendid hilly and woody course of 18 holes par 72 (5 777 metres) accessible to as many people as possible. In some way, it is a "high class" golf in a rural area where each player can take his time to play (great gaming comfort) at his own pace to be really happy. The players also like around the golf a quality restaurant which forms part of the Golfy network (see our section Viree gourmandes in Restaurants): it offers a lovely setting and the possibility to organise meetings and seminars in well equipped rooms.In brief, the Golf de la Sorelle is all the delights of golf, whatever your level (lessons, training, initiations) together with the delights of the restaurant and those of a stay in the wild - 3-star hotel of 7 rooms on the Estate. The Amazonia centres - and the town of Bourg - do not escape the rule. You can use a badge at any time of the day with the numerous stretching or strength machines, individual changing rooms, cabins and showers to change. Internet access and relaxation area, with microwave, kettle, coffee and tea bags, syrups and fruit, are the service. The staff, at the time they are present, explain the operation of the machines and advise on the most efficient and safest way to use them.
In fact, Amazonia has only one defect, but it is major: the rates are particularly opaque. With discounts and other sponsorship formulas, no one seems to pay the same thing.

The Comité départemental de spéléologie de l'Ain, also known as CDS 01, is based in Bourg-en-Bresse. It offers caving-related services and has a caving school. CDS 01 offers regular outings and organizes various caving-related activities. Created in 1969 by three underground downhill friends, the treacherous Bellegarde club is one of the department's top fundraising venues. One of the first to welcome within his ranks the initiators of 1 ^st and 2 ^nd degree. Today, the club keeps this tradition of training, participating in coaching and animation activities, thereby discovering the underground world to the greatest number.

With its 23 years of existence, Afess is one of the first French clubs in a number of young people. It is also a vocation for club members who regularly organize school outings and events to the general public.

On foot, it is from the commune of Brénod that you will have to leave to discover these three waterfalls: that of Sautoux, that of Crêt Naillot, and finally that of Versoud. A little over 4 kilometers await you on a forest path, and therefore shaded, punctuated with a few pretty views. In particular, stop at the Areta summit, half way: from the top of its 944 meters altitude, it offers a nice panorama of the village and surrounding area - which is much better thanks to the orientation table!

This Green Lane begins at the Hameau Hameau in Brégnier-Cordon. In 12 kilometres, it will take you to Évieu and then to the port of Groslée. It is, in fact, a segment of the famous Via Rhôna, which, in 450 kilometres, links Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean. The course is peaceful and offers a wide range of activities. It first crosses the river and joins a rural road surrounded by corn fields. That, and there, a few points of view are your itinerary; the opportunity, if you are on the walk, to make a small stop.

Walk on foot? Exit cycling? If you do not manage to fall from agreement on the activity of the day, this loop early Balan could hold business. And for good reason: the path is completely practiced in two-wheeled vehicles. From the town hall square, first take over the management of Niévroz, following Plateron. Then head to the pont de Jons along the lône, and you then engage left via the breach in the fence. You will go along the Rhone on about 2 kilometres, before you follow the direction of the Old Mill and its lake. The loop is veiled soon: to do this, take on the tarmac road until Balan.

Step by step, this circuit leads you to the discovery of the Tour Tower and the ponds of Grand Châtel, Grand Beron, Petit and Grand Chabodière. In the middle of the way, you will also be pénètrerez in the Bois de Charney, which is sharp with the sight-loss fields that have accompanied you so far. For a family walk or an end-of-the-day jogging, this loop without differences of 6 km is ideal for the least trained.

This gentle hike from Drom will take you to the ruins of the old Saint-Julien church only 3 kilometres away. The path is stable, secure, and evolves in pine and box vegetation. Easy to access, it is ideal for families looking for a nice outdoor exit. Starting from the church of the commune, hire on the right and follow the blue and white markup. Your journey also leads you to the church of Notre-Dame-des-Rhone and to the cross of Sainte-Julie, with beautiful views of Bourg-en-Bresse, La and Revermont.

Hiking tours in Ain, this is really not what is missing! Between plateaus and valleys, the department offers opportunities for walks for all, from the most confirmed grass walkers. At the beginning of Treffort-Cuisiat, De or Courmangoux, discover the region at your pace through varied paths, all marked. For two or twenty kilometres, put the shoes and it's gone!

Created in Chartreuse by a passionate person, the Trail Stations allow to practice the outdoor activity on marked out courses of various levels. The Haut Bugey offers an ideal setting for trailers. First Nordik Walk resort in the Jura Mountains in 2017, the resort offers 29 trails classified from green to black for difficulty, including Les Balcons du lac de Nantua by Xavier Thevenard, the sponsor of the resort, or the KV des Monts d'Ain, and 11 Nordic walking courses.

In the exceptional surroundings of Fort Ecluse, here is an exceptional adventure site. Secure sensations, with a professional coaching and a choice of 38 workshops to go into and above incredible places. Pleasure at all ages: The youngest enjoy equilibrium games within their reach, while the most sportsmen fly on the 4 tyrolals (500 m of vacuum below!), practice the jump and climb along the vertiginous walls (via ferrata). An unforgettable and relaxing day. 

For nature-lovers, the Bugey tourist office organizes three-day weekend getaways on the Plateau de Retord every year. Everything is fully organized and included (equipment rental, gîte and catering). Real moments of relaxation await you, with the following program: introduction to biathlon, picnic, Quadrix Access wheelchair activity, electric Swincar activity and an hour's Nordic bath or sauna. Minimum 2 participants. Please book at least 2 weeks in advance.
