Charming little hotel in a renovated 19th century building (1866 to be exact). Very well located, close to the train station (5 minutes walk), its common areas house some classic Scandinavian furniture by designers such as Arne Jacobsen and Gunilla Allard. All rooms (with fully tiled bathrooms and underfloor heating), while sharing the Nordic theme, offer unique and individual decor, and some of them overlook a pretty little courtyard with trees. The landscape of Fjällbacka is already undeniably beautiful, but when you spend the night in this hotel on the small sloping street, clinging to the rock, you don't know where to look. Without even considering the charm of the large dining room with its colonial and marine style, it is impossible not to succumb to the very pretty and unique rooms. Each of them has been decorated with a particular theme, referring to the journey of a captain who wrote to his brother in Fjällbacka. The letters are hung in the entrance of the rooms.

STF Visby/Rävhagen's hostels and cottages are pleasantly situated in a forest clearing on the eastern outskirts of Visby, about 2 km from the Visby ring road. The rooms are divided between the two wings on either side of the reception. Simple comfort but all clean and the breakfast buffet is relatively well stocked. A total of 154 beds are available (in rooms, cottages, cabins), perfect for large groups!

The best address in town! In a yellow wooden house from 1926, each room is decorated with a lot of personality, while combining all the necessary facilities at hand. In addition, one can enjoy the barbecues in the garden on sunny days, the nearby beach, as well as the many tourist attractions that are right next door.

The 1 hotel, opened in 2006, has the charm of these small, caring and welcoming family institutions and will delight those who want to stay quietly and close to all the city's attractions. There is no continuous service here, but breakfast is included in the price and the rooms are very beautiful, modern and functional (ironing table, minibar…). A very friendly welcome for this good address.

Family hotel with about 35 rooms to be classified in the "unusual" category! Indeed, the establishment offers a guaranteed unique stay in what used to be a prison in the late 1800s. If the rooms are a bit cramped, the place is far from being gloomy. In the summer, the courtyard of the compound hosts concerts for an audience of up to a hundred people, and the microbrewery (which can be visited) produces nearly a dozen types of local beers. For those who are interested, there is a small exhibition about the history of the former prison.

The building in which the Esplanad Hotel is located was built in 1911. In 1963, the then owner, Rune Palm, obtained planning permission to convert the house into a hotel, which was completed in 1967.
