This pretty white building was a sailor's boarding house in the 19th century and only became a youth hostel in 1996. The reception is very friendly, as is the backyard with its wooden tables and benches at the foot of the Masthugg hill. The rooms are clean and the sanitary facilities are in the hallway. On the first floor, there is a common kitchen and lounge with TV and sofas. There is an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, and plenty of information about sightseeing in Gothenburg and the surrounding area.

This white, single-storey house, located 700 m from the centre of Lärbro, was once a war hospital. You can prepare your own meals here or eat in the restaurant. The beach is 3 km away. The hostel has one of the biggest gyms in Gotland: Helheten. Here you can work out and afterwards enjoy a sauna or a professional massage. Roddaren Hostel was built in the 1950s and is located in the centre of Strömstad, 400 metres from the town hall. Nineteen comfortable rooms with private toilet and television are available. There are rooms for couples, families and also for three, four or five people to share with friends. The establishment also has an independent kitchen and a shared lounge, where you can meet people at the end of the day. The showers are in the basement and are always clean. A very practical little address.
