We sleep either in dormitories or in private rooms with bathroom. The advantage of this hostel is that many activities are organized there, summer and winter, from sleigh rides to cross-country skiing excursions. What's more, it's inexpensive compared to accommodation at Abisko Turistation. In any case, the location is good and the adventure is there.

A family and international campground, the place is well kept, whether it is the hostel, the cabins or the campground in summer. There are many activities throughout the year, in addition to all the local walks and discoveries to be made around Gällivare. A great place to stop for a reasonable price.

This station no longer belongs to the STF network but to the owner of the beautiful Hellsten Hotel in Stockholm. Comfort has been improved and hotel standard rooms have been added to the dormitories and hostel style rooms. Two large Falun redwood buildings planted on the banks of a tumultuous river and a magical vastness... Prices remain affordable, and the place is just as busy. It is a strategic crossing point for any hiker. We stop there gladly, for a night or two, to recharge our batteries, surrounded by nature and nothing else.

This large white house is one of the only options for staying in the village and is right at the edge of the road, easily recognisable with its "Information" sign near the porch. It houses the tourism office.

There is a collective kitchen, a health in the corridor and bright, clean rooms.
