Located one kilometre from the train station and a few metres from Gävle's main square, this large yellow house with typical Swedish architecture has a real charm! A beautiful address as we like them, clean, authentic, well located. Five rooms, spacious, decorated with a wallpaper in light tones and decorated with small flowers, parquet floor. The place includes a visitor center, a store and a garden. You can also book guided tours or find hiking trails. The rooms all have a view of the 1920s garden. This authentic 1820s farmhouse has a country charm and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012.

A large yellow house with three floors, divided into single and shared rooms. We highly recommend the top floor, which in addition to a large kitchen/living room, offers the residents of the floor the possibility to access a sauna. Access is rather incongruous, since you have to go through the only common bathroom of the floor, which has only a glass shower... The hostel also offers snowmobile tours to let you enjoy the splendid landscapes of the surroundings, and paradoxically, to explain you the harmful effects of global warming.
