The course is built on sand and gravel, so no water or chemicals are used. For all these reasons, the golf course considers itself eco-responsible, so you can play without feeling guilty. Golfers playing on the sand course take a small piece of artificial turf with them to place the ball on the tee. Visitors must call to reserve.

Abu Dhabi City Golf is the oldest course in the United Arab Emirates. Opened in 1976, it is located in the heart of the city, just a few swings from the horse racing track and against the backdrop of the Abu Dhabi skyline. Designed by Briton Scott Taylor, the 9-hole Par 70 features a Par 5, six Par 4s and two Par 3s. The clubhouse is very popular with the city's expatriates, especially at weekends.
